When ten-year-old Devon Williams is shot in the projects, Danny's heated approach to the case lands him in anger management. Danny follows a lead to apprehend a gangbanger from the area who reveals that Devon's mother was the intended target of the hit. Danny suspects Devon's father Darryl placed the hit as retribution for keeping Devon away from him during his incarceration. After he learns that Darryl kidnapped Devon from the hospital, Danny tracks him down and relays a lesson from his sensitivity training to coerce Darryl into confessing and surrendering Devon. Meanwhile, Frank navigates the politics of the State Department and the Turkish Government in order to help a young Turkish woman avoid persecution and Erin begrudgingly agrees to let Jamie teach Nicky how to drive.
