The Brooklyn rapper is nominated in eight categories including Record of the Year, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album.

AceShowbiz - The complete nomination list for the upcoming 60th annual Grammy Awards was revealed on Tuesday, November 28, shortly after Andra Day announced four major categories on CBS' "This Morning". Jay-Z leads the pack with eight nominations this year, including Record of the Year and Best Rap Song both for "The Story of O.J." His album "4:44" is additionally nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.

Trailing behind the Brooklyn rapper are Kendrick Lamar and Bruno Mars. While Lamar is nominated in seven categories including Best Rap Performance for "HUMBLE.", Mars receives six nominations including Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for his "That's What I Like".

Meanwhile, SZA is named 2018's most Grammy-nominated woman with five nods. The songstress is vying for the prize in Best New Artist category, where he's pitted against Alessia Cara, Lil Uzi Vert, Julia Michaels and Khalid, who also scores five nods at the award.

Ed Sheeran, on the other hand, only receives two nominations despite his latest album "Divide (division sign)" being one of the best-selling albums of the year. The British singer is nominated in Best Pop Vocal Album for "Divide" and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Shape of You".

Similar thing also happens to Sheeran's best friend, Taylor Swift. Swift's hit song "Look What You Made Me Do" is not included in the complete list of nominations. However, two of her other songs receive a nomination each. "Better Man" is nominated in Best Country song category, while her collaborative track with Zayn Malik, "I Don't Wanna Live Forever", is up for Best Song Written for Visual Media.

The winners from all categories will be announced at the live ceremony on January 28, 2018 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. For the full nomination list, fans can visit the official Grammys website.
