The 'Miss Sloane' actress criticizes The Eye after the network defended decision to snub female-centric shows.

CBS previously defended themselves. "The way things turned out, those pilots were not felt to be as good as some of the other series that were picked up,” an executive, Thom Sherman, said at the TCA. "That's just the cycle of business and how it happens sometimes."
The Eye, however, admitted to the lack of diversity in its casting department which only consisted of white people. "They've been together for a long time," the male exec explained before he added, "We are cognizant of the issue, we hear you and we will be looking to expand the casting department."
