Director Christopher McQuarrie has taken to his Instagram account to share a picture from "Mission: Impossible 6". The photo sees Henry Cavill, who sports mustache and poses in what looks like an open helicopter. Since McQuarrie previously mentioned that the filming had moved from Paris to New Zealand, it's likely that Cavill's image was taken in New Zealand.
Cavill's new look was first seen in one of McQuarrie's Instagram photos last April, in which McQuarrie, Tom Cruise and Cavill posed on "Mission: Impossible 6" filming location in Paris. The actors and director smiled brightly in the picture, with the Eiffel Tower shining in the background.
It's still unknown what role Cavill will play in "Mission: Impossible 6". Some speculate that he may play the right hand man of the head of the IMF, but it remains to be seen.
Rebecca Ferguson (II), Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris will return alongside Cruise for the movie. Vanessa Kirby has been added to the cast, while it has been confirmed that Jeremy Renner won't make a return. Last May, it was announced that "Black Panther" actress Angela Bassett joined the movie and would play the director of CIA.
McQuarrie has said that "Mission: Impossible 6" will feature "very different" Ethan Hunt and will explore his character way more deeply than the previous movies did. Besides serving as director, McQuarrie writes the script and produces the movie alongside Cruise, Don Granger, J.J. Abrams, David Ellison and Dana Goldberg.
"Mission: Impossible 6" is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 27, 2018.
