AceShowbiz - The complete winner list of the 2017 Academy Country Music Awards was unveiled after the ceremony wrapped up on Sunday, April 2. Thomas Rhett and Miranda Lambert came out as the biggest winners of the annual award-giving show that took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Rhett and Lambert took home two trophies apiece. Rhett defeated the likes of Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Chris Stapleton and Keith Urban in the Male Vocalist of the Year category. When his name was called, the 27-year-old singer was stunned as he stayed in his seat for several seconds and shook his head.

"Everyone in this category shaped the artist that I am," he said of his unexpected win. "Thank you so much to the ACMs, this is the most amazing award that I've ever received in my whole existence." It was Rhett's second big win of the night as his song "Die a Happy Man" was named Song of the Year.

Lambert, meanwhile, was named Female Vocalist of the Year for the eighth year in a row, after defeating fellow nominees including Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood. She also nabbed Album of the Year Award for her much-acclaimed set "The Weight of These Wings". "I just want to say thank you for letting me release my heartbreak and sharing it with me," the "Vice" songstress said when receiving the award.

Brother Osborne and Florida Georgia Line also bagged two awards each. Osborne nabbed Vocal Duo of the Year Award, breaking FGL's streak of three wins in a row at the award-giving show, and Top New Vocal Duo of the Year Award. "Oh my God, what the hell!" the duo exclaimed when accepting the award, before thanking their parents. FGL, meanwhile, walked away with Single Record of the Year Award for "H.O.L.Y." and Vocal Event of the Year Award for their Tim McGraw-assisted song "May We All".

Aldean and Little Big Town were among artists making up the winner list. Aldean was honored with the Entertainer of the Year Award for the second year in a row, after defeating Luke Bryan, FGL, Underwood and Urban. LBT, meanwhile, nabbed Vocal Group of the Year Award. The group previously won the title at the 2016 CMA Awards, marking their fifth consecutive win at the show.

The 2017 ACM Awards aired live on CBS with Bentley and Bryan as co-hosts. The event also included performances from a bunch of big names in country music as well as Backstreet Boys, who made their debut at the country music's biggest night alongside FGL.
