September 08, 2009 02:09:52Dierks Bentley has just debuted a music video for his single called "I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes". The country music singer is enjoying some intimate time together with his love interest in an empty house somewhere in the outskirts of the city.
"I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes" is the third single off Bentley's fourth studio album "Feel That Fire" which has arrived in stores since February. The track was co-written and produced by Bentley along with Brett Beavers.

June 17, 2009 10:06:402009 CMT Music Awards winners have been announced on June 16, and it was revealed that Brad Paisley grabbed the most kudos, three in total. Another country music singer who walked home with multiple prizes at the event was Taylor Swift. She received two nods.
Brad's first victory came from Male Video of the Year category for "Waitin' on a Woman". "[Andy Griffith] was the perfect man to pass wisdom. He has passed wisdom his whole life to all of us. ... He has changed my life in so many ways, and to be on film with him, you can imagine what that would be like," Brad praised Andy for portraying the lead character on his video.
Rascal Flatts, Jennifer Love Hewitt Among Presenters for 2009 ACM Awards
April 03, 2009 04:04:16Both country music band Rascal Flatts and actress Jennifer Love Hewitt have been listed as presenters at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. They are going to present awards at the annual event on April 5.
Other country music singers tapped as presenters at the ceremony are Kellie Pickler, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jack Ingram, Martina McBride, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton. In addition to them, R&B/soul singer Jamie Foxx, actor Matthew McConaughey and supermodel Marisa Miller also join them in the presenters list.

Calling the title track as "sums up the message of the album," he has released the song since September 29, 2009.
Coming from the songwriting desk where Bentley teams up with Brett Beavers, Brad Warren and Brett Warren, "Feel That Fire" is a "fun, uptempo party kind of songs and really well-crafted, quality statements about life," according to label president/CEO Mike Dungan. Since making its debut in September, it peaked at number 8 on Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and at number 3 on Canadian Radio and Records Country Singles chart, proving Bentley as a major talent.

December 05, 2008 01:12:13Country music singer Dierks Bentley has released a music video aimed to promote his new song "Feel That Fire". In the video, he is seen singing verses narrating "about a girl who wants to be as alive as humanly possible, to feel everything, to take it to the hilt."
"Feel That Fire" is a self-penned song which contains electric guitar sounds blended with up-tempo jam. Reportedly listed in Bentley's upcoming fourth major studio album of the same name, the song peaked at number 7 on Canadian Radio & Records Country Singles chart but only managed to land at number 71 on Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart since its release in late September.
Dierks Bentley and Wife Welcome First Child, a Baby Girl
October 06, 2008 10:10:43Having been married since the year of 2005, it wasn't until Saturday, October 4 that Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy Black welcomed the arrival of their first child together, a baby girl, whom they named Evalyn Day Bentley. She was born just before midnight at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, People reports.
The newborn baby weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz. at time of birth. According to Dierks, the baby's name was derived from Cassidy's maternal grandmother Evalyn, while the middle name was chosen because he and Cassidy "just liked the word 'Day' - it's a hopeful word." And so, they will simply call her "Evie".
Dierks Bentley Wants Fans' Creative Control in New Release
February 20, 2008 11:02:37Dierks Bentley is making a fans-oriented album that requires a creative control. The country singer is letting fans contribute something to his Greatest Hits album by helping him to select the title, the cover art and some contents.
"I'm making the fans executive producers of the album," Bentley explained. "The label was interested in doing some sort of greatest hits. I said if we're gonna do something like that, I want to make something for our fans and make the fans the center of it. It's the fans who made us have greatest hits, so they should have something that's for them."

P. Diddy has just proved he does deserve the label "hip-hop mogul". The rapper scores his No. 1 album since 1997 when his latest effort "Press Play" takes the No. 1 U.S. album spot on The Billboard 200 for the week ended Sunday Oct 22nd, selling over 170,000 copies. "Press Play", which is Diddy's first studio album since 2001's platinum-selling "The Saga Continues", also tops Billboard magazine's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
At 2nd position on the album chart is Evanescence's "The Open Door" with 112,000, while JoJo enters the chart with her sophomore set "The High Road" at No. 3, sold 108,000 copies. Former chart-topper, Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds" secures the 4th spot with another 99,000, ahead of Dierks Bentley's "Long Trip Alone" at No. 5 selling 82,000 copies, and Rod Stewart's "Still the Same...Great Rock Classics of Our Time" at No. 6 sold another 79,000 copies in its second week out.
Chesney to Perform at Football and Soccer Stadiums

Country superstar Kenny Chesney has included at least nine stadium dates into his "The Road & The Radio" tour, which begins with a March 23-24 stand at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio.
The nine dates included in his tour route this year, including National Football League stadiums in Boston, Nashville, Seattle, Detroit and Tampa, Fla., and Major League Soccer stadiums in Dallas, Chicago, Columbus, Ohio, and Los Angeles.
