Nicki Minaj is the new queen of Billboard chart, taking the throne from Aretha Franklin for most Hot 100 hits of any female artist with 76 entries, three entries ahead of Aretha's 73.

AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj made another breakthrough in her career. Being the queen of rap apparently is not enough for her and now she is proclaimed as the queen of Billboard chart after surpassing Aretha Franklin for most Hot 100 hits of any female artist "in the history of Billboard among women of every genre." She beats Aretha with 76 entries, making the Queen of Soul slide down to number two.

Aretha had held the title for most Hot 100 hits among women for almost 40 years, from 1977 to 2017. On March 18, Nicki matched her with 73 entries when "Make Love" ft. Gucci Mane debuted. And now thanks to her newest tracks, "No Frauds", "Regret in Your Tears" and "Changed It", the 34-year-old rapper surpasses Aretha to hold the title.

The "Anaconda" hitmaker took to her Instagram account to announce the good news and thank her fans. She wrote in the caption, "Man, I tell ya... God said he ain't done showing off yet. Walked off stage to find out history was made yet again today. #NoFrauds #RegretInYourTears + #ChangedIt charted this week on Billboard & I now hold the title of most Hot 100 entries in the HISTORY of BILLBOARD among women of EVERY genre. To my fans: I fkn love u guys more than I'll ever be able to put in words. Thank you so much for your unwavering love & support. God bless each & every one of you..."

Meek Mill's ex also celebrated her success in a video. In the short video she posted on Instagram, she is twerking while wearing bright red leather bra and skirt. She wrote in the caption,"When u find out u just became the only woman in the history of billboard to have 76 Hot 100 billboard entries."

Following behind Nicki and Aretha on the list of most Hot 100 hits, Taylor Swift is on the third place with 70 entries. Rihanna is on the fourth place with 58 entries, followed by Madonna with 57 entries. Some other female artists in the list are Beyonce Knowles, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus and Diana Ross.
