A year after the sequel's announced, the actress who voices Anna explains that she hasn't hit the recording booth yet because the filmmakers want the script to be perfect.

AceShowbiz - We're finally one step closer to getting "Frozen 2". A year after the sequel to the massively successful "Frozen (2013)" was announced, Kristen Bell revealed that the film would likely start its production next month.

In a chat with Collider, the actress said that she hadn't begun working on the second film yet because the filmmakers had been taking their time with the script. "We're just about to [hit the studio to record the lines.] They've just written it and they're still doing tweaks, but I think we should be recording this month," she shared.

"The story is great, and they exude quality," she continued, teasing what the anticipated sequel would offer. "What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out. That's why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one."

"Generally when you have a first successful movie you want to make a second one. It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it," she added.

"Frozen" was a huge hit for Disney. Its soundtrack, which includes the Academy Award-winning "Let It Go", was also a big success as it got to spend multiple weeks at No. 1 on Billboard 200. The second film is reportedly set for sometime in 2018, though no official announcement has been made so far.

Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are back at the helm with songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez tapped to provide new music. Bell, who voices Anna, is expected to return alongside other voice cast members like Idina Menzel (Elsa), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf).
