While ranting about the delay of Rihanna's 'Anti', songwriter Glass John reveals he's 'working his ass [off]' to get the power couple's album done.
That Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z joint album has been rumored to be in the works for quite some time now. It was expected to be released this year, but nothing has come out so far. However, one songwriter working with the power couple assured fans that the project would still happen.
In between a series of tweets in which he claimed that Rihanna's rumored boyfriend Travis Scott (II) was the one causing her "Anti" album delay, the songwriter who goes by Glass John revealed that he was among people hired by Bey and her husband for their collaborative effort.
"I am actually working my ass [off] to get on this Jay-z and Beyonce album.. it's going to be #HUGE..," he wrote. He, unfortunately, didn't say anything else about the album.
Reports about Beyonce and Hov's joint set first emerged late last year. While the two superstars never made confirmation, producer Detail said earlier this year that the album was indeed underway. DJ Skee later added that it was going to be released exclusively through Tidal when it's done.
