Miranda Lambert broke her silence on her highly-publicized divorce from Blake Shelton. According to Entertainment Tonight, the "Little Red Wagon" singer opened up in her upcoming cover story for Cosmopolitan magazine about her life after the divorce.

"Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try," the 32-year-old singer reportedly told the magazine. Miranda also admitted that she's still processing everything months after the separation.

The blonde beauty also weighed in on her past relationship with Blake. "I had a great relationship with an amazing man," Miranda said, adding, "So I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted." She made it clear that there's no "bad blood" between her and her ex-husband.

Of her next steps in moving on, the singer, who recently received Female Vocalist of the Year Award at the 2015 CMA Awards, jokingly said, "Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, 'Man, this sucks right now.' "

Miranda also said that she would still make music following the separation. "I feel the sexiest when I'm in my element, which is playing music," she admitted. "It doesn't really matter what I'm wearing necessarily or where I'm at, just on stage with my band playing music is sort of where I feel like I belong and that makes me feel sexy."
