Receiving a lot of inappropriate comments over her vacation photo, the teen star states that the length of a girl's skirt does not determine what she is.

AceShowbiz - Ariel Winter hits back at those who body-shame her bikini picture. The 17-year-old "Modern Family" star points out that posting a sexy picture does not mean "she is asking for" it.
Winter received negative comments over a bikini photo of her with her nieces. In response, she shared an image of a woman's leg which is marked like a ruler with "slut" and "provocative" among others. It was the 2013 work of Rosea Lake titled "Judgments". "Who knew that an innocent photo with my nieces would turn into this?" Winter wrote on Saturday, November 14. "The height of a girl's skirt or whatever she is wearing for that matter, does not imply what she is asking for."
The teen star continued, "It sickens me to think at 17 years old, a photo of myself with my nieces is suggesting that I'm 'asking for it'. I typically never give power to the mean things people bravely say behind their computer screens on the Internet, but this is for the girls who are constantly bullied whether it be online or at school..".
Winter laid down her message, saying "You are not asking for anything because of what you are wearing- you are expressing yourself and don't you ever think you deserve the negativity as the consequence to what you are wearing- YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Celebrate you and don't let anyone's comments allow you to think less of yourself. Us girls have to stick together!!!!!! "
One of the degrading comments took a jab at Winter's decision to reduce the size of her breasts earlier this year. "What a waste of such perfect t-ts," one person inappropriately commented. But some wrote arguments in the actress' defense. "You're going to deal with some negativity when you put yourself out there. They are trolling her, probably mad about the reduction still. Her bikini is not even close to being overly skimpy," one person wrote.
