AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Candice Accola. The 27-year-old actress best known for her role as Caroline Forbes on The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" tied the knot with her beau, Joe King of The Fray, in New Orleans Saturday, October 18.
The wedding was attended by her co-stars such as Paul Wesley, Claire Holt, Katerina Graham, and Michael Trevino. "Vampire Diaries" creator Julie Plec was present as well. "Vampire Wedding. Spectacular," she gushed on Twitter.
Ian Somerhalder who couldn't make it to the nuptials sent congratulation to the newlyweds via Instagram. "Candace (sic) and Joe- my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you. From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit!" he wrote.
"I am missing my home state of Louisiana and my city, the great city of New Orleans. Sending you so much love from my shoot in ATL- i'm working hard & I wish I could be there physically, but we have the rest of our lives to celebrate. I love you guys! So. Much."
King, 34, popped the question to Accola in Florence, Italy in May 2013. It's the first marriage for the actress and the second for the guitarist. He has two daughters with his former wife.
