The group also performs their own tracks like 'Sunday Morning' and 'Maps' during their visit to BBC Radio 1's 'Live Lounge'.

AceShowbiz - Maroon 5 turned Pharrell Williams' feel-good hit single "Happy" into a sad song when they visited BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" recently. During their session on the radio show, the band impressed the host with a stripped down cover of the upbeat track.

Frontman Adam Levine, who will serve as a coach alongside Pharrell in the upcoming season of "The Voice", showed off his falsetto over acoustic guitar and piano keys as he sang the Oscar-nominated song.

In addition to covering "Happy", Maroon 5 performed some of their own tracks on the show. They played old songs "Sunday Morning" and "One More Night" as well as "Maps" and "Animals" from "V", their latest album that debuted at this week's Billboard 200's No. 1 with 164,000 copies sold.

To support their fifth studio effort, the group will headline a world tour scheduled for next year. They will play shows in 27 U.S. and Canadian cities starting from February 16, 2015 before heading to Europe in May. "Rude" hitmaker Magic! and Levine's protegee Rozzi Crane are opening the upcoming shows.
