AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus was the victim of a home burglary shortly before her birthday. The pop star's house was burglarized on Friday, November 22 afternoon, one day before she turned 21.
LAPD North Hollywood Community Police Station would not confirm to E! News that it was Cyrus. However, someone discovered property was missing from the house at around 4.30 P.M. but no one was injured because nobody was home and there were no signs of forced entry. Police are still investigating the case.
"She's extremely upset and a lot of personal items were stolen," a source told Us Weekly. "She's really shaken up about the whole thing."
Cyrus spent her birthday rehearsing for 2013 American Music Awards in which she will perform, reportedly, "Wrecking Ball". Sources told E! that Cyrus will tame the performance down despite the music video's nudity content. The annual awards show will be broadcast Sunday, November 24 from Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
After that, Cyrus has been scheduled to host a private party at the theater of Beacher's Madhouse in Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
