Both the male leads suit up as they are filmed attending a funeral which the Dom depicter describes as a 'somber moment' in the saga.
Someone close to Dom and Brian apparently dies in the next "Fast and Furious" movie. In new pictures taken on the filming set in Atlanta, Georgia, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker who play the street-racing duo are pictured filming a funeral scene. Both suit up for the occasion.
A solemn-looking Diesel is seen in one picture standing in front of a casket. "The first week of filming, has been both intense and surreal...," he wrote on Facebook along with a different photo. "P.s. One from set... a more somber moment in Our Saga..." It's unclear which character who met his/her demise.
"Fast and Furious 7" is directed by James Wan ("The Conjuring" and "Insidious"). He takes over the helming reign from Justin Lin who directed the fourth "Fast and Furious" film, the fifth one "Fast Five", and the "Fast and Furious 6".
Djimon Hounsou, Ronda Rousey, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham are added to the cast ensemble to join returning members like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (Luke) and Tyrese Gibson (Roman). Lucas Black who played Sean Boswell in the third movie, 2006's "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift", is brought back as well.
The "Fast and Furious 7" is moving fast. It began filming only four months after the last movie was released. It eyes a June 11, 2014 release.
