The 'Argo' actor reportedly had a meeting with the 'Mean Girls' actress to give her guidance on how to stay sober post-rehab.
It turns out that Oprah Winfrey and Chaka Khan are not the only high-profile celebs who have given Lindsay Lohan moral support. According to TMZ, during her 90-day rehab stint, LiLo got a surprise visit from actor and director Ben Affleck, who went through alcohol rehab in 2001.
The "Armageddon" actor reportedly gave her guidance on how to maintain sobriety post-rehab and even to make a great comeback in Hollywood. Sources with the knowledge tell the site that the meeting, which took place somewhere away from the Cliffside rehab facility where she was treated, "really touched" the 27-year-old actress and singer.
TMZ adds that there was no talk about "Live by Night", Affleck's next directorial gig in which Lohan reportedly has been in talks to play a waitress with a heart of gold. The rumor, however, has been shut down by a source close to the production.
"It's not true," the source told US Weekly last July. "First off, no one has been cast. [Lohan] will not be cast in any role in the movie. She is not being considered for any role in the movie. She won't be in the movie."
Lohan will next be seen in the August 18 episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter", airing at 9/8c on OWN. Her latest movie, "The Canyons", is currently playing at theaters.
