AceShowbiz - Gyp Rosetti gets the highlight in a new clip from "Boardwalk Empire" season 3. Though he has been said to be Nucky's new nemesis, fans won't see a sign of the rivalry in the footage, which is set at a New Year's Eve party.
Instead, the new character played by Bobby Cannavale wants to make a business proposition to Nucky in the scene. Gyp, however, seems to be pissed off when Nucky gets called out while he hasn't finished his line.
Another clip shows Al Capone threatening a flower shop's owner, who is possibly another gangster. Nelson Van Alden comes in time to pretend as the other gangster's fellow and act as if he's carrying a loaded weapon in his suitcase.
The new installment of "Boardwalk Empire" will premiere Sunday, September 16 at 9 P.M. ET on HBO. According to a synopsis of the first episode, Nucky makes a resolution that does not sit well with Gyp Rosetti, a touchy gangster with a thirst for bootleg whiskey, while hosting a New Year's Eve party for 1922-23.
To her husband's displeasure, Margaret looks to build on the Thompson endowment at St. Theresa's Hospital. Meanwhile, in the absence of Jimmy and the Commodore, Gillian builds a new business and monitors Richard's mentoring of her "son," Tommy.
