Deb has a breakdown and begins questioning what her brother usually does in the night after the big revelation in season 6 finale.
How the big revelation affects Dexter and Debra's relationship is highlighted in a new behind-the-scene video of "Dexter" season 7. "I'm still your brother. Nothing's changed," so the serial killer tries to assure his sister, but she replies, "Everything's changed." Some emotional scenes are previewed as Deb is put in a difficult position with her title in the Miami Metro Police Department.
In another scene, Deb asks Dexter's babysitter if he often works late. Deb will seemingly learn another dark secret of her brother since she is seen sitting in his living room with a hand and his knives on a table, which may lead her to punch him. Deb has another reason to keep her eyes on Dexter since he's caught attacking a suspect.
Despite the tensions among the brother-sister duo, their long alliance will not evaporate in just an instance, so actor James Remar claims in the video, before adding, "Somehow they're gonna try to make things work." However, the titular character depicter, Michael C. Hall, notes that they can't undo what's been done.
The seventh season of "Dexter" will premiere Sunday, September 30 at 9:00 P.M. on Showtime. Yvonne Strahovski, Katia Winter, Jason Gedrick, Ray Stevenson and Santiago Cabrera are tapped as guest stars in the new installment.
