Preview of 'Dexter' 4.11: Hello, Dexter Morgan
November 30, 2009 11:11:58Dexter's worst fears have been realized. Because of Debra's unrelenting pursuit, Miami Metro is just one step away from discovering the identity of the Trinity Killer. And Dexter can't let that happen. Arthur's arrest would not only deprive Dexter of a satisfying kill, it would also expose the secret life Dexter's been leading in his pursuit of this monster.
Dexter must take drastic action to buy himself time to deal with Trinity in his own fashion. Meanwhile, Rita decides to confide in Dexter, which doesn't go as well as she'd hoped. First Poster of 'Dexter: Early Cuts' the Webseries
October 09, 2009 01:10:44One of the exclusive new posters for the "Dexter" animated series "Early Cuts" has been debuted along with several stills. The poster, which shows a silhouette of Dexter lunging his knife, is featuring the artwork of graphic novelist Kyle Baker whose work has appeared in "Looney Tunes" projects as well as networks such as MTV and BET.
"Early Cuts" is a twelve-part series told in four, one to two-minute chapters. Also a project by Showtime, the wesbisode will run weekly beginning October 25 at www.sho.com. Not only Baker, the art department is also filled by Andres Vera Martinez and Ty Templeton.

Dexter's Baby Spills the 'Blood' in New Promo
August 03, 2009 04:08:07A short but right-at-the-spot promo of "Dexter" was aired on Showtime. It shows Dexter and his gleeful baby during feeding time with red food, which almost resembles blood, spilling all over the place. The tagline "Not his usual mess" bears the right pun for Dexter's job as a serial killer.
"Dexter" is premiering September 27 before another season premiere of "Californication". This time Dexter is dealing with fatherhood, which forces him to go to the drugstore even if he is in the middle of a killing mission. He takes residency in the suburbans with Rita and her kids, leading a seemingly normal life.

August 01, 2009 01:08:50Showtime has begun with the promotions of its Fall series, "Dexter" and "Californication". Posters of the two shows are released, a cute but creepy image of Dexter and his son for "Dexter" and a sexy shot of college girls' legs for "Californication".
This would be the second poster for "Dexter" following the single shot of the baby with a drool bib saying "My Dad Is Killer". The posters represent Dexter's new life as a father, living in the suburban with Rita and her kids. During Comic Con in San Diego, Michael C. Hall won't rule out the possibility of the baby inheriting his 'killer' trait. "The baby has yet to exhibit any signs," Hall said. "It's possibly there, lurking."

First Promo Picture of 'Dexter' Season 4
June 19, 2009 04:06:48The first promotional picture for "Dexter" season 4 has been released by Showtime. Showing a picture of a baby with the drool bib saying "My Dad Is Killer", the picture represents the parenthood phase which will be faced by Dexter and Rita in the new season.
Production for the fourth season is kicked off this month with the premiere date slated for September 27. Apart from the fourth season, Showtime has also ordered for the fifth one which will again consist of 12 episodes.

'Dexter' Continues With Two More Seasons
October 22, 2008 01:10:14Showtime's TV series, "Dexter", will be produced for two more seasons. The network has confirmed to pick up the serial killer series for two more additional seasons, the fourth and fifth seasons which contain of 12 episodes each. The fourth season's filming will begin next spring in Los Angeles and will be premiered in 2009.
The series has the highest rating of all Showtime's programs, with its September 28 episode getting three million viewers. The series received a 2008 Peabody Award and had been nominated for five Emmy Awards earlier this year, including best drama series and best lead actor in a drama.

Two Sneak Peeks to 'Dexter' 3.01: 'Our Father'

Providing sneak peek into the episode entitled "Our Father", the first video showcases that Dexter's relationship to Rita and her kids is back on track, while the second displays Dexter describing his new victim, Fred "Freebo" Bowman, a dope dealer and college girls' killer.
In this episode, life seems to be going well for Dexter. His relationship with Rita and her family intensifies and he's no longer under scrutiny at his day job. But as he served Freebo with his dark justice, he figures out that things don't go as planned, pushing him to go to a desperate measure to cover up his crime. Making his problems even more complex, he finds himself inexorably drawn to Miguel Prado, an Assistant District Attorney, who has a very personal reason to bring Freebo to justice.

Behind-the-Scene Video of 'Dexter' Season 3
September 10, 2008 04:09:07Before season three of "Dexter" is premiered on Showtime, a behind-the-scene video of the forthcoming season has been unraveled. Introducing the new season as the time when the rules are changed, the video compiles the season descriptions from the series' executive producer Clyde Phillips, leading man Michael C. Hall and other cast members, including Julie Benz and Jennifer Carpenter.
The two-minute long video reveals what to expect from the serial killer working as a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department. Phillips explained that in it, Dexter will be seen becoming his own man and owing his own code, while Hall furthermore suggested that his character will be having a greater understanding of the 'job' he is doing meaning that he may break some rules. The video also reveals the look into the new character, Miguel Prado played by Jimmy Smits.
