Words are, a camera crew from 495 Productions was in the 'Jersey Shore' star's hospital room when she was about to give birth to her first child with fiance Jionni LaValle.
Fans may get a chance to see Snooki giving birth to her son on "Snooki & JWoww". Radar Online has learned that a camera crew from 495 Productions, which produces the "Jersey Shore" spin-off, was in the MTV reality star's hospital room "in the hours leading up to her birth." A source says, "Viewers will see Snooki in labor."
The cameramen were "kicked out as she was about to give birth," but Snooki's fiance Jionni LaValle reportedly "was using a personal camcorder and he carried on filming." The source adds, "Jionni only filmed at Snooki's head though so viewers will most likely see very little footage of the actual birth... It was done very tastefully and with respect to Snooki and other patients at the New Jersey hospital."
Hours after the birth, Snooki's baby who's named Lorenzo Dominic LaValle was also filmed. The source gushes, "Lorenzo was ready for his proud parents to show him off to the world."
Snooki gave birth to her first child with Jionni on Sunday morning, August 26 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. MTV later released a statement to welcome to the baby boy, "We couldn't be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy! We look forward to Lorenzo's first trip to the Jersey Shore and can't wait to see his first animal print onesie."
The baby also got an outpouring of love from Snooki's "Jersey Shore" co-stars. JWoww tweeted, "So proud of @snooki and @JLaValle! Lorenzo is the cutest baby I ever seen. Love him already," while The Situation wrote, "Congrats to Nicole an Gianni (sic) in their new baby boy! All the best to the new family! @snooki."
"Snooki & JWoww" has been renewed for a second season by MTV and it's likely that Snooki's delivery process will be included in the upcoming installment.
