A few weeks ago it was reported that Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen were all set to join "Scary Movie 5", and now details of what characters they will tackle have been revealed. Courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, Lohan and Sheen will star as what Dimension Films described as "the world's hottest new couple."
However, the pair will suffer a horrible fate as they will get killed off in the opening sequence of the upcoming horror parody movie. In that way, Lohan and Sheen will follow the footsteps of Pamela Anderson, Shaquille O'Neal, Dr. Phil and other famous guest stars whose characters were killed in the previous "Scary Movie" flicks.
In addition to Lohan and Sheen, THR mentions that "The Expendables 2" actor Terry Crews has joined the project but his role is still unclear. Also lining up in the casting department are Ashley Tisdale, Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, Craig Bierko and Erica Ash.
Scheduled to start lensing in September, "Scary Movie 5" will be helmed by Malcolm Lee and David Zucker, who also wrote the script for "Scary Movie 3" and "Scary Movie 4". The latest chapter is slated for an April 19, 2013 release in the United States.
Lohan is busy filming indie flick "The Canyons", in which she stars opposite porn star James Deen. Sheen, meanwhile, has recently snatched a role as a U.S. President in Robert Rodriguez's "Machete Kills".
