Demi Lovato will get company when she hosts the upcoming 2012 Teen Choice Awards. The "The X Factor (US)" judge will co-host the Sunday, July 22 event with Kevin McHale who plays wheelchair-bound Artie Abrams on FOX's "Glee".
"Demi and I have been friends for years," McHale said in a press release. "It's exciting to finally be working together professionally and I'd like to welcome her to the Fox family. This is going to be a great show."
The show in fact has a stellar list of appearances from such artists as Miley Cyrus, Lucy Hale, Ellen DeGeneres, Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, Jason Derulo and Josh Hutcherson. Those in schedule to perform on the stage are Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida, No Doubt and DJ Pauly D.
Meanwhile, voting will be kept open until Saturday, July 21.
