March 18, 2010 01:03:01Singer Demi Lovato is urging her young fans to convince their parents to participate in the U.S. 2010 census - to help make a better future for the next generation of adults. The Disney star is backing Eva Longoria's campaign to encourage American citizens to give up their details for the upcoming survey, and is calling on her loyal followers to get the adults in their lives to take part.
In a blog post on her Twitter page, she writes, "A lot of you may not understand why I believe it's important that the youth of today is informed about the 2010 census. The census isn't something only adults should pay attention to."
New 'Road to Camp Rock 2': Mitchie Torres
March 15, 2010 02:03:36In the latest installment of "Road to Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam", Disney Channel puts the spotlight on Demi Lovato's character Mitchie Torres. The behind-the-scene feature gives a look at how Demi grows as an artist and how she puts out all her heart into the sequel. Like she said in recent interviews, Demi gets to dance and perform more than that on "Camp Rock".
"We were kind of alike in the first movie too, where we both really didn't know who we were and just wanted to fit in," Demi said about her character's development. "I was new to Disney Chanel and wanted to make friends. In this movie, there's no lying, she's found her own and going in there confident. I feel that's how I feel now - a lot more confident."

Demi recently admitted at Billy Bush's radio show that she was indeed dating one of the Jonas Brothers. Bush asked whether she had ever dated any of them and Demi coyly said, "Maybe?". Shot whether it is Joe, Demi replied, "Yeah. He's actually ...he's my best friend." Shortly after the interview, Demi wrote on her Twitter, "By the way... I would never lie to my fans. The Vanity Fair event was held at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles hosted by Graydon Carter. Plenty of A-class actors, including the Oscar winners, preferred to celebrate the prestigious movie event here. Sandra Bullock, still clutching her gold man, arrived with husband Jesse James. Director Kathryn Bigelow joined her actor Jeremy Renner and was reportedly given a round of applause from fellow actors.
