October 13, 2009 02:10:58Actor Josh Hutcherson realizes that the existence of fans plays significant role in his career and he sure knows how to appreciate his admirers. "If I didn't have fans, I wouldn't have a job," he claims on his MySpace when answering fans' question about being approached by fans who are eager to say "hi" to him.
"Whenever someone comes up to me, I'm more than happy to sign an autograph or take a picture," he reveals. "I'm still unbelievably grateful that people find me interesting." And when asked to comment about his "Zathura" co-star Kristen Stewart who complained about her fame in recent interview with Allure, Josh has nothing but praise.
First Clip From 'The Vampire's Assistant' Offers Fight Scene

The snippet brings to attention the fight scene between Chris Massoglia's Darren and Josh Hutcherson's Steve. While earlier trailer presents the two as best friends, this clip exposes that they have become estranged from one another after Darren is turned into a vampire.
Darren yearns to have something more than a normal, ordinary and predictable life. When he and buddy Steve stumble upon a pamphlet of Cirque Du Freak, his life gets interesting. After paying a visit to the traveling freak show, he gets an offer he couldn't bear to resist, becoming a vampire. Little that he knows, by being a vampire he breaks a 200-year-old truce between two warring factions of vampires.
Blood-Covered Zombies Roam 'Quarantine' Premiere
October 10, 2008 04:10:28On October 9, a day before "Quarantine" unleashes its scare on the big screen nationwide, Screen Gems rolled down red carpet on Knott's Scary Farm in Buena Park, California to celebrate the horror remake's premiere. Though seemingly an ordinary premiere, the event was made unique with the appearances of stars as well as zombies on the red carpet.
Among the attendees for the special screening event were the film's stars, Jennifer Carpenter, Jay Hernandez, Dania Ramirez, Doug Jones, Johnathon Schaech, Marin Hinkle and Rade Serbedzija, and one of the movie's producers, Clint Culpepper, as well as director/writer John Erick Dowdle and co-writer Drew Dowdle.

As the winners of the awards for the young performers were announced on Sunday, March 30, it was revealed that all of its young theps have nailed all the four nods given to them earlier.
At the event, the film's two leading performers, Josh Hutcherson and AnnaSophia Robb, have been hailed the leading young actor and actress respectively in the category of Best Performance in a Feature Film. The two teenage actors have overshadowed in total 16 other strong contenders, including Alex Etel of "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep", Freddie Highmore of "August Rush", Abigail Breslin of "No Reservations" and Saoirse Ronan of "Atonement".

The Walt Disney Pictures' movie has gathered four counts, including the Young Ensemble Cast nod.
Beside the ensemble count, the film's two leading performers, Josh Hutcherson and AnnaSophia Robb, were also nominated for leading young actor and actress categories respectively. In the male category, Hutcherson has to face 9 other young actors, such as Alex Etel of "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep", Freddie Highmore of "August Rush", Logan Lerman of "3:10 To Yuma" and Chris O'Neil of "The Last Mimzy". Meanwhile, for the female gong, Robb was set to be up against strong contenders, naming some are Abigail Breslin and Saoirse Ronan.
Stars Involved in the "3-D Journey"

Time goes by and now Walden Media and New Line are about to launch production on "Journey 3-D." Due to such fact the two studios have attached Josh Hutcherson to star in, casting him opposite Brendan Fraser.
An update on Jules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth", "Journey 3-D" is being directed by Eric Breivig based on a script written by D.V. DeVincentis. Take the producer seat is Charlotte Huggins.
Bridge to Terabithia Is in Production
January 20, 2006 11:01:16The "Bridge to Terabithia" is in the beginning of production. Walden Media and the Walt Disney Pictures have started working on the project.
Amidst the process, filmmakers have cast actor Josh Hutcherson to play the lead role, an 11-year-old boy whose life is changed forever when he befriends the class outsider, a girl. Together they create the world of Terabithia, an imaginary kingdom filled with giants, trolls and other magical beings.
