One day after Thanksgiving, Lady GaGa made her way to sing on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". She opened the show with "Bad Romance" performance, playing the piano before then joining her backing dancers for up-beat dance routine. She also brought "Speechless" to close the November 27 talk-show.

Aside from having live performances, Lady GaGa also sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for an interview segment. Among other topics she talked about with the host were her younger years and outrageous outfits. When praised by Ellen for singing live, she said, "Aren't we supposed to sing? It's part of the gig isn't it?"

But there will also be more serious questions like how her younger years were like. "I didn't fit in in high school and I felt like a freak," GaGa opened up. "So I like to create this atmosphere for my fans where they feel like they have a freak in me to hang out with and they don't feel alone."

Having been married to Ellen DeGeneres since August last year, it wasn't until Monday, November 9 during an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" that Portia de Rossi acknowledged she fell in love with the openly gay talk show host at first sight. "Over those three years, we saw each other at parties or various things, but the one time that was the most significant was at a photo shoot," she continued telling her story. "I just walked over to say hello to her and I couldn't believe it, but she turned around and it was like an arrow was shot through my heart. I was weak at the knees and I was overwhelmed with how I felt. But then it took me about 10 months to get the courage up to do something about it."

Ellen DeGeneres' variety show "Ellen's Bigger, Longer & Wider Show" is slated to air on TBS on Saturday, June 27 with an impressive line-up of guest stars. Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West, magician and endurance artist David Blaine and multi-talented comedian Nick Cannon will individually be featured in segments.

The star was on Ellen DeGeneres's show on TV Friday when DeGeneres asked her about a recent charity auction she hosted, where she offered the men in the audience the chance to fasten her dress when a clasp came loose - for a fee - when she sparked an impromptu bidding frenzy. When being asked so, the actress replied: "I can do it right now... You want to see?"

DeGeneres: "Any Excuse to Put on a Dress"

Doing well as the host of the last Emmy Awards that followed the September 11 terrorist attacks, Ellen DeGeneres has been chosen to host the 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, to be held September 18 at the Shrine Auditorium. Speaking about her choosing, Dick Askin, chairman of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences said "Ellen has demonstrated her extraordinary ability to connect with the television viewing audience. ... We are delighted to have her back."

Briefly, DeGeneres tells the new issue of Allure magazine she was a victim of her stepdad's lust in 1975, while her mother Betty was in hospital being treated for breast cancer. Further the beauty explains that his stepdad insisted on checking her for breast cancer lumps. "He made me let him feel my breasts. He made me lie down because he said he felt hers (mother's) when she was lying down," she said.
