While Chris Brown and Drake remained quiet about details of their bottle-hurling scuffle, fellow artist Meek Mill broke his silence. The Maybach Music Group rapper, who happened to be at the club when the altercation occured, said in his testimony that neither Chris nor Drake threw any bottles during the brawl.
Talking to XXL, Meek claimed, "Chris and Drake, them two was there but its other people that be around that take s**t to the next level." He continued testifying, "Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of s**t. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there."
When asked if he took part in the melee, the MMG rhymer quickly said, "F**k no." He also made it clear that he didn't have beef with Chris and Drake. In fact, he contacted Breezy soon after the fight, and it's confirmed by the "Turn Up the Music" hitmaker on his Twitter. "Me and @MeekMill ain't on that bulls**t. Real respect Real...," he tweeted.
Meek then explained, "What [Chris] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain't got no problem." The "Tupac Back" MC gave more details, "I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately, like, 'There's nothing there, this-that-and-the-third."
He added, "Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this. Things get out of hand that don't mean it's out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake."
NBA stars Tony Parker & Iman Shumpert and model Ingrid Gutierrez were at the club as well when the incident occurred. Tony suffered an eye injury, while Ingrid left with a bleeding head. Some innocent concertgoers were also injured. One of them threatened to sue the club and include Chris and Drake as defendants if there was enough evidence.
