The former husband of Eva Longoria says he suffers from an eye injury and expects to be sidelined for about a week while his French team prepares for the Olympics.

AceShowbiz - Tony Parker was one of the people injured in a nasty bar brawl that involved Chris Brown and Drake. The ex-husband Eva Longoria said in a recent press conference, during which he wore dark sunglasses, that he got some shards of glass in his left eye.

"I was there with a bunch of friends when a fight broke out," the 30-year-old basketball player explained the incident to the press. "They started throwing bottles everywhere. I don't know what happened. At first it was OK, but then it started getting worse."

"When the plane landed it was really hurting so I went straight to the ER," he continued his story. "The cornea has been touched." He additionally stated, "So I'll be missing the start of the French team because I can't do anything for a week except keep the lens in and then take drops."

Despite leaving with an eye injury, Parker gratefully said, "I was lucky. The injury won't prevent me from competing the Olympics in any way." The San Antonio Spurs guard will join the French squad to compete at Olympic Games in London on June 20.

Chris Brown and Drake, along with their respective entourages, reportedly were engaged in a heated war of words before the fight broke out. They allegedly fought over Rihanna who once dated Breezy and then was romantically linked to Drizzy after they broke up.

The altercation happened at W.i.P. (Work in Progress) in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood on early Thursday, June 14 morning. Breezy left with a gash on his chin, and his bodyguard Big Pat was hit in the head. An innocent clubgoer named Hollie C. received 16 stitches in her head.

New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert was at the club as well during the bottle-hurling fight, but he fortunately left unscathed. The 21-year-old NBA star tweeted, "Definitely pre bottle smash. Lol. Security walked me out before it broke out."

Model Ingrid Gutierrez, however, was not so lucky. She reportedly left with a bleeding head after getting hit with a flying bottle. "Plastic surgery is probably likely," her lawyer said. "At this moment right now she is just getting treated." The attorney also revealed that she was "aggressively investigating all aspects of the fight."

While investigation into the accident is still underway, more theories about what really happened were brought forward by some web tabloids. "Every day/hour there is a new lie. What's next? Chris Brown hit himself? This was not a Chris Brown fight nor brawl. He did nothing! Stop!" Chris' camp tweeted.

One of the rumors suggesting Chris sent Drake a bottle of champaign as a peace offering but the rapper replied it by sending back a nasty note. "There was no bottle sent to @drake and there was no note! Stop the lies, TMZ/MTO!!!! There were no punches thrown, just glass," Breezy's management denied it.

Chris insisted he's a victim, while Drake denied he participated "in any wrongdoing of any kind." Riri herself remained mum on the incident that involved her two exes when met outside Jay-Z's 40/40 Club on Thursday night.

Jonathan Cantor, manager of the club where the altercation occurred, was arrested later on unrelated charges. Police responded to noise complaints, but the manager was detained because he had two outstanding arrest warrants against him. He was found to be in violation of the fire code and against alcohol beverage control when officers conducted a routine business inspection.
