The Rosie Pope Maternity designer and her husband Daron keep her Twitter followers informed about their third child's delivery by tweeting updates throughout her labor.
Congratulations are in order for Rosie Pope. The "Pregnant in Heels" star has got the ultimate Mother's Day gift as she gave birth to a baby girl, her first daughter and third child with husband Daron, on Sunday, May 13 afternoon.
"On this very special Mother's Day, we welcomed our first daughter into the world at 12:40 P.M. ET in New York City," she and her husband said in a statement to Us Weekly. "Our healthy and beautiful baby girl weighs 7lbs 9 oz. We are all doing well and so in love with her, as are her older brothers and our extended family."
Rosie make sure her fans were kept up to date with the delivery of her daughter by live-tweeting her labor. The mother of two boys tweeted on Sunday, "Contractions 3-5 mins a part, just spoke to my boys, they r excited [plus]got up to say good bye to mom this morning @Bravotv #PregInHeels." About thirty minutes later, she shared, "My water just broke!"
The Rosie Pope Maternity designer went on to post a series of tweets that read, "Ahhhhh these contractions are so bad, I've asked for the epidural but it's not working...please start working!", "8cm dilated, feeling whoozzy epidural is kicking in. So excited but so anxious, just want to hold my baby in my arms," and "9cm...holy moly pushing in 30 mins...so emotional..thinking about my boys, they're going to meet their sister soon."
When she couldn't type anymore, her husband Daron took over. "Rosie now itching legs, nausea coming on strong. She's talking about only one thing: healthy baby girl," he wrote. "let the pushing begin! After 1st vomit, she started pushing. She's doing great." He later tweeted, "Our beautiful princess is born! Baby and Rosie are doing great!!! What a miracle!"
Daron followed it up with another tweet that read, "We can't believe we're a family of 5 now! Such an amazing journey, we feel so incredibly blessed!" Rosie herself was back on Twitter hours later as she tweeted, "The boys just came and met their baby sister-what an amazing mother's day, so full of miracles."
