J-Hud teams up with Ne-Yo to deliver 'Think Like a Man' soundtrack, while Durbin rocks out 'Higher Than Heaven' with his band.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" welcomed back not just one, but two of its alums on the result show that aired Thursday night, April 12. Jennifer Hudson from the third season and James Durbin from the tenth season returned to the competition, which helped launch their singing careers, as musical guests.

J-Hud, who finished seventh in 2004, performed a sassy song called "Think Like a Man", a soundtrack for a star-studded movie of the same title. She's accompanied by some female backing dancers before being joined by Ne-Yo halfway through the set.

2011 fourth-place finisher Durbin, meanwhile, rocked the stage with his song "Higher Than Heaven" from his first studio album "Memories of a Beautiful Disaster". Backed up by a live band, he emerged from behind a huge white sheet and delivered a high-energy performance.

Three contestants with the strong performances, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Elise Testone, were on the bottom three this week, leaving Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler shocked. Jessica was the one who got the lowest vote, but she was saved by the judges.
