"How I Met Your Mother" has just featured a famous face as a cameo in "No Pressure" which aired Monday, February 20. In the said outing, Conan O'Brien is featured in a scene set at MacLaren's bar where the gang often hangs out.
The host of TBS' "CONAN" stands in the background as Barney confronts Lily and Marshall about a betting box. As Barney jumps over a table across the bar and passes O'Brien to search for Lily and Marshall's sex tape, the former "Saturday Night Live" writer turns his head over and makes his face visible to audience.
Before the episode aired, Neil Patrick Harris had teased about the cameo. "Watch the new episode of HIMYM tonight and try to spot the awesomest of dudes randomly hanging out at MacLaren's. #dontblink," so the Barney depicter wrote on his Twitter without mentioning a name.
O'Brien landed the walk-on cameo role after winning an auction at a charity function. Back in June last year, the 48-year-old comedian said that the show's writers wanted to write a role for him, but he thought it would be funnier to appear in the background of the bar.
