The former 'Hills' star and her Chicago Bears quarterback fiance announce they are expecting their first child together less than two months after getting re-engaged.
Just a few months after announcing that they have renewed their engagement, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler have another great news to share. The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant and her Chicago Bears quarterback fiance are expecting their first child together.
"We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together," the couple, who broke off their first engagement in July 2011 before reconciling in November the same year, told PEOPLE. "It's an amazing time in our life and we can't wait to meet the new addition to our growing family."
While Cavallari and Cutler didn't offer further details about her pregnancy, a source told Us Weekly that the former star of "The Hills" is "really happy." The source added, "She is in the early stages, but she can't wait to be a mom. They have just bought a house in Tennessee and can't wait to start their family."
25-year-old Cavallari and 28-year-old Cutler first met in August 2010 through E! News host Giuliana Rancic. In April 2011, after just eight months of dating, Cutler asked Cavallari for her hand in marriage while the two were vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Three months later, they called it quits.
The pair sparked rumors they were back on again during Cavallari's stint on "Dancing with the Stars". During an October taping, Cutler was spotted among the audience, grinning broadly and applauding proudly after Cavallari finished her samba routine with her pro partner Mark Ballas. A little more than a month later, Cavallari tweeted, "This time its official...Jay and I are engaged again :)"
