The wife of actor Tom Hanks makes the announcement through her Twitter account on Christmas Day, excitedly gushing, 'The B***h is Back!'
Rita Wilson will be making a return to "The Good Wife". On Christmas Day, the wife of actor Tom Hanks revealed on Twitter that she will reprise her role as Viola Walsh on the series. "FYI for 'The Good Wife' fans...I will be coming back this season as Viola Walsh," so she wrote. "The B***h is Back!"
Wilson has appeared twice on the CBS legal drama during its second season. In her last appearance as Viola on the "Great Firewall" episode, she ended her friendship with Diane Lockhart and offered Alicia Florrick a job at her firm. It is still unclear whether Viola will return to the third season to check up on her offer to Alicia.
"The Good Wife" will return to CBS on Sunday, January 8 at 9 P.M. EST with Carrie Preston and Jason Biggs appearing as the guest stars. Lockhart & Gardner's future is at stake when a couple whose divorce was overseen by the firm accuses them of encouraging the breakup for financial gain.
