As he takes every precaution necessary to ensure his safety should the Category 2 storm hits New York, the '30 Rock' star informs his Twitter followers he also has a Scrabble dictionary by him.
With Hurricane Irene threatening to wreak havoc on the East Coast, many Hollywood A-listers are taking precaution to ensure their safety and preparing for whatever comes. Among them is "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin, who apparently has some interesting things to kill time should the Category 2 storm hits New York City on Saturday, August 27.
Asked by a Twitter follower whether he is all ready for the hurricane, the 53-year-old actor included a thigh master on his list of supplies. "I have water, batteries, a scrabble dictionary, peanut M&Ms, a copy of Decision Points and a Thigh Master," so he wrote after tweeting, "Is the storm coming here? IS THE STORM COMING HERE?!?! AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!"
His fellow Hollywood star Sarah Jessica Parker, meanwhile, is securing her home in preparation for the storm. While promoting "I Don't Know How She Does It", the mother of three young children told the Associated Press that she is "removing anything that could fly through windows," and has been stocking up on water, flashlights and batteries.
Reality star Khloe Kardashian, on the other hand, shared to her Twitter followers that she is "preparing DASH NYC for the hurricane," adding in the same tweet, "So scary." Former "Today" host Katie Couric also took to Twitter and wrote, "Preparing for Irene! Went to drugstore at 7:30 and no flashlights! Arrrgh! Will try later."
Many other celebrities not living in the East Coast also shared their thought on the hurricane. Former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Kirstie Alley tweeted, "If you find the need to evacuate for the impending Irene..PLEASE take your pets.......and of course your kids....LEAVE bad lovers behind..;)"
