Hawkes and his girlfriend are enjoying some cuisine at a SoHo food festival when a gourmet food truck explodes.
After "Identity Crisis" which was aired on April 1, "CSI: NY" has a food-themed episode ready to be served the next week. A promo has been unleashed for the upcoming episode, seeing an exploded food truck.
The team enters the competitive world of gourmet food trucks when one explodes at a SoHo food festival while Hawkes is there with his girlfriend. Lesley-Ann Brandt of "Spartacus" returns as Hawkes' girlfriend, Camille, while Alex Meraz of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" appears as Odelin Gonzales, Jr., the son of a truck vendor.
"Food for Thought" will air on April 8 on CBS at 9:00 P.M. ET. Co-executive producer Zachary Reiter previously teased there are "some cool things to look forward to" in this 19th episode, which is inspired by writer Trey Callaway's love of food.
