'CSI: NY' 6.09 Preview: The End of Compass Killer
November 19, 2009 04:11:51The serial killer is still on killing spree but Mac and his team are on his tail. In the third episode of "CSI: NY" about the pursuit of Compass Killer, Mac and his team uncover the dark lair of the murderous madman. But as they race to save his fourth victim, the sunrise presents one final surprise that no one ever expected.
"Manhattanhenge" airs on Wednesday, November 25. Skeet Ulrich gets inside the shoes of Compass Killer and stays on the show for three episodes which are not consecutive. He first appeared in the third episode of this season, leaving an antique compass that points to a certain direction near his victims to give clue to the investigators about the next one.

'CSI: NY' Links Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Minnillo to Murder
November 05, 2009 01:11:21The list of "CSI: NY" guest stars is getting longer with the addition of two actresses, Kim Kardashian and Vanessa Minnillo, as well as TRL star LaLa Vasquez and members of rock band Train. The star-studded episode will air on December 16 on CBS.
"The ladies play two women who've managed to concoct a very interesting scheme that ends in murder," Executive Producer Pam Veasey told People about the roles Kardashian and Minnillo take. Meanwhile, how Vasquez and Train will be featured in the episode is not disclosed.

Preview of 'CSI: NY' 5.24 and Season Finale

A new episode, written by the star Melina Kanakaredes, is titled "Grounds for Deception" and airs Wednesday, May 13. The season finale "Pay Up" airs the next day on Thursday, May 14.
In "Grounds": When Stella discovers that New Yorkers are being murdered over ancient Greek artifacts, she hands over her badge to follow a clue that leads to Greece and, together with Mac, she uncovers one of the greatest mysteries in history.

April 02, 2009 11:04:14Next week, "CSI: NY" will be back with an episode called "Prey" where a stalker becomes a prey. Former "American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee guest stars as double identity Odessa Shaw and Dana Melton.
While investigating the shooting of a man in an empty theater, Stella realizes that the crime scene is oddly familiar and staged. McPhee's character is a singer who is also a crime victim who resorts to murder as revenge. "Prey" airs April 8.

The episode's title "Communication Breakdown" refers to the difficulty the agents face in tracing the possible suspect. Apparently there are several foreign suspects that may have caused the death of the Native American chief. The episode airs March 25.

Katharine McPhee Lands a Role in 'CSI: NY'
February 19, 2009 10:02:21One more "American Idol" alum joins "CSI: NY" for a guest starring role. In an exclusive report, EW dished out that fifth season runner-up Katharine McPhee is to appear in an episode of the crime drama, doing what she does best, singing.
The episode where she will be a singer, is scheduled to be aired in April. No other details included. This would be the second experience for McPhee in appearing in a prime-time series. In 2007 she made a cameo as herself in an episode of "Ugly Betty".

It airs February 18 on CBS.
In a recent scoop by TV Guide, it is further hinted that Lindsay and Danny will get a wedding in a February episode. Producer Pam Veasey refers the couple as "the Messer family" when revealing that Lindsay will go back to Montana to share the pregnancy to her family.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson to Guest Star in 'CSI: NY'
January 17, 2009 11:01:23"CSI: NY" is taking more and more guest appearances. This time, the CBS series will tap new parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson to play "Bonnie and Clyde'-like couple," a source tells People.
"Ashlee will be playing 'Lia Wickfield' and Pete will be playing 'Chester Bryon'," the source revealed further. No plot story for them has been dished out but EW's Michael Ausiello said that their episode will be aired on March 18. Ashlee has reportedly shot her part on Friday and Pete will catch up sometime next week.

November 13, 2008 12:11:40Coming to its 100th episode, "CSI: NY" presents an episode called "My Name is Mac Taylor" where a series of murders are linked by the fact that all the victims are named "Mac Taylor". Rumer Willis, daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis will guest star in the episode as Mackendra Taylor and "American Idol" alum Chris Daughtry as Machiavelli Taylor.
Two murder victims are found within two weeks, the New York team must struggle against time in order to hunt down this killer before the worst happens. Mac Taylor happens to be the same name as the show's lead detective which is played by Gary Sinise and 15 other people in the city, Macdonald Taylor, Mackiyo Taylor, Machiavelli Taylor, Mackinley Taylor and Mackendra Taylor among others. The latest manages to escape from the murderer's clutch although suffers from bruises and cuts.

Entitled "Turbulance", the episode will take Mac on a flight to Washington D.C., but shortly after the plane takes off, it has to be grounded. A body of a dead air marshal is found in the plane, making everybody on board the flight to be the suspects for the murder. Now, he has to find the clues and the murder weapon to solve the new case.

Rumer Willis Taking Mac Taylor Part in 'CSI: NY'

Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has reported that the starlet who has recently starred alongside Anna Faris in "The House Bunny" will be tackling a character whose name coincides with the lead character Mac Taylor, played by Gary Sinise, on the series' 100th episode.
In the episode to be aired on November 19, she will be one of a serial killer's targets only because her name is Mac Taylor. Apart from this "CSI: NY" part, she has also been set to star in the October 12 episode of another television series "Army Wives". There, she will be portraying the wife of a soldier who is injured in Iraq.
