Melding their moniker into NKOTBSB, the two boybands are tapped to help Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest celebrate New Year.
The already-crowded line-up of 2010 "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" continues to grow. The latest big stars who are added to the list are boybands New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys who are preparing to embark on a joint tour next summer.
"The NKOTBSB just keeps snowballing ... and nothing is as exciting as Times Square's New Year's countdown," the Backstreet Boys said. The five members of New Kids On The Block then chimed in, "The excitement of this is just a glimpse of what our upcoming tour will be."
They will be joined by the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Willow Smith, Ne-Yo, Avril Lavigne, Drake, Jason Derulo, La Roux, Mike Posner, Natasha Bedingfield, Far East Movement, Train, Ke$ha and Taio Cruz.
Counting down the coming of January 1, Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest will host the show live in New York with Jenny McCarthy on hand as a correspondent at Times Square. Black Eyed Peas' Stacy Ferguson will, meanwhile, host the Los Angeles-based portions of the specials.
