The reality TV star is writing her first novel about 'a girl looking for love on the boardwalk' and will publish the romance book in January 2011.
Back in July, Snooki told New York Times' Cathy Horyn that she has only read two books in her life, "Twilight" and "Dear John", which both have been turned into big screen projects. But now, the "Jersey Shore" star might add one more book to read, her own novel. On Wednesday, September 29, Simon & Schuster's Gallery Books announced that Snooki is writing her first novel.
Us Magazine reported that pint-sized glowing reality star Snooki will publish a romance novel, titled "A Shore Thing", in January 2011. According to the publisher through the press release, the book tells a story of "a girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans and fights galore)."
Gallery Books VP Jennifer Bergstrom additionally said that the novel is "a fun, sexy novel about a single girl looking for love on the Jersey Shore." Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, herself said in a statement, "I'm pumped to announce to my fans a project that I've been working on for some time. This book will have you falling in love at the shore. It's 'A Shore Thing!' "
Earlier this month, Snooki was ordered to complete two days of community service after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance as well as annoying people in Seaside Heights, New Jersey back in July. She was also fined $533.
