Jay-Z's "Blueprint" third installment, "The Blueprint 3" debuts at number one on Billboard Hot 200. The record has sold more than 476,000 copies since making its way out across U.S. on September 11.
The album becomes Jay-Z's eleventh chart-topping record, passing Elvis Presley as a solo act who has the most No. 1 efforts. Also, the achievement places the rapper as the second artist with the most No. 1 albums among all acts just behind The Beatles who scored 19 No. 1 sets.
Back to chart, Miley Cyrus' "The Time of Our Lives [Walmart EP]" still holds tight to the second spot with 120,000 copies. Meanwhile, last week's champ Whitney Houston's "I Look to You" only manages to add 88,000 units and thus has to fall down to number three.
Aside from Jay-Z's latest studio project, there are three other newcomers on the chart. Raekwon's "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Pt. 2" debuts at number four with 68,000 copies, Brooks & Dunn's "#1s... And Then Some" enters the chart at number five with 55,000 units, and Boys Like Girls' "Love Drunk" sits at number nine with 40,000 copies sold in its first week on sale.
