The "Gossip Girl" actor is said giving her a hug and compliments when they meet during a music concert in New York City.

AceShowbiz - Showing his sympathy for Taylor Swift after her award acceptance speech at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 13 was interrupted by Kanye West, Chace Crawford reportedly gave her a hug when they met at the Kings of Leon concert in N.Y.C. Monday night, September 14. Greater than that, he also gave her some compliments for the way she dealt with the incident.

A source in the know told Us Weekly to have heard Chace telling Taylor, "I'm so proud of you. Don't let anyone ever take your spotlight ever again." The country music songstress then, in return, thanked the "Gossip Girl" star, who is "like an older brother type and is very protective over her," added the source.

Still according to Us Weekly, though she was left stunned by West's rant at the annual awards gala, Swift continued her night away by having dinner at Del Frisco's to meet a group of friends and receive a standing ovation, said an insider. At the eatery, "Taylor's friends ordered her favorite dish, macaroni and cheese, to cheer her up. And nobody brought up Kanye West."

Taylor Swift has confirmed during an interview with ABC News Radio on Tuesday, September 15 that Kanye West already phoned her and offered his personal apology. She said, "Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology."

The personal and verbal apology was the fourth one that Kanye has made. On the same day he stole Taylor's MTV VMAs moment he posted an apologetic message on his official blog. Then on Monday, September 14 he wrote another, yet shorter, message. Later that day, he also offered an apology during his appearance in "The Jay Leno Show".
