Among the details of Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams' wedding that People magazine exclusively reveals in a report on its site is the fact that the actress-singer wore flat sandals to her nuptials which took place in Savannah, Georgia on Tuesday, March 10. She paired them up with a cream-colored, lacy tea-length dress.
As for Adams, the singer-songwriter wore tight skinny jeans, a t-shirt with sport coat and sneakers. He and Moore exchanged silver rings purchased from a local jeweler. The twosome was officiated at Whitefield Chapel at Bethesda Home for Boys on the outskirts of Savannah, Ga. by Pastor Steve Schulte.
"She was thrilled to be getting married. She was giddy but not in a childish way. She was obviously so happy," Schulte tells People, adding that he was asked to marry the celebrity couple only the day before, because of which he initially thought "it was either somebody famous or somebody really bad" who were getting married.
Mandy Moore, 24, and Ryan Adams, 34, began dating in December 2007. After dating on and off, they were confirmed in February to have engaged.
