Billy Ray Cyrus tells Access Hollywood that he gets his daughter, Miley Cyrus, a recording studio for her 16th birthday.
In addition to a surprise birthday cake that was presented during the annual American Music Awards (AMAs) Sunday, November 23, Billy Ray Cyrus revealed that he also gets his daughter Miley Cyrus a recording studio in their house as another present for her 16th birthday. To Access Hollywood's AMAs guest correspondent, Quddus, the country singer shared, "She wanted a recording studio. She just wanted a place to record there at the house. She's been writing a lot of songs a lot of really great material."
"It's a great place for us to get up there and work out some tunes and sing," the elder Cyrus continued talking about the recording studio. "We both love doing harmonies and we could just jump in there and make all kinds of music and be real creative."
Miley herself couldn't hide her joy upon learning that she got her dream birthday present, stating, "It's gonna be dope! I'm so stoked! I think I get it tomorrow. I think it gets like all put in." She then jokingly added, "He's not touching it, he's not touching it! It's mine. It's in my room. No one's touching it but me. They'll ruin it," when commenting on his father's statement that they might be working together in the studio.
Asked about Internet reports claiming she wants to get a brand new Mercedes for her birthday, Miley explained, "I don't even have my license or anything so it'd be kind of like dumb to get one and just let it sit. I'd like to wait until I'm more ready for the road, cause I don't know if the roads are ready for me yet!"
Miley Cyrus turned 16 years old Sunday, November 23. Her parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia "Tish" Cyrus, alongside her celebrity friends, including Jordin Sparks, Julianne Hough, Taylor Swift, and Ashley Tisdale presented her with a surprise birthday cake, backstage at the AMAs. Back on October 5, Miley held an early birthday bash at California's Disneyland.
