A series of 'Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen' on-set photos showing the badly burned Shia LaBeouf has proved that the actor's injury has been written into the film.

AceShowbiz - Several photos from the set of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" have been outed and they display how the writers integrated Shia LaBeouf's car crash injury to the sequel. The images let out by Just Jared highlight on the burnt, bloodied and badly injured LaBeouf as the leading human character Sam Witwicky.

Though the pictures do not give out any hint of what cause the fake injury, it shows that Sam will seriously hurt the left part of his body which is exactly on the side of his real-life mangled fingers. Observing the photos deeper, some speculated that Sam may be ran over or involved in a heavy explosion. All of the on-set photos can be seen at Just Jared.

Back in July 27, LaBeouf had been involved in a car crash incident at a West Hollywood intersection at around 3 A.M. causing his car to roll down twice and him sustaining a severe injury on his left hand. Following reports that some of the actor's left fingers are mashed and he has to undergo immediate surgery, director Michael Bay announced that the script of "Revenge of the Fallen" will be adjusted to the injury.

A sequel to hit blockbuster "Transformers", "Revenge of the Fallen", will center the story on the battle between Autobots and their new enemy, the Fallen. It is said that in the sequel, the Autobots are going to seek help from their defeated foe, Megatron as Fallen is far stronger than them. Starring also Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Isabel Lucas and others, the high-octane action is slated for June 26, 2009 release.
