Actress Vivica A. Fox Pleaded No Contest to DUI

Vivica A. Fox has on Friday, December 7 pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above stemmed from her DUI arrest in March.

The actress has, through her attorney, been pleaded no contest to DUI in a Van Nuys, Calif., courthouse Friday, December 7 and was sentenced to three years probation.

The former "Dancing With the Stars" competitor, additionally, was also ordered to complete a 90-day alcohol education program and fined for more than $400.

Fox was pulled over on March 20 in the San Fernando Valley after a patrol car noticed her 2007 Cadillac Escalade traveling on a Los Angeles freeway at about 80 mph in a 65-mph zone. To make matter worse, she was unable to stay in the correct lane and failed a field sobriety test.

She, according to further media reports, then got all racial to one of the arresting officers, who happened to be black. "Brother help a sister, are you going to let this racist white cop do this ... well are you?'" so Fox was quoted as saying. She was released from jail on early March 21.

The 43 years old actress turned herself in to the L.A. Police Department's Van Nuys division Wednesday, December 5 to be booked.
