John Travolta Inspires Kings of Leon's 'Mechanical Bull'

Kings of Leon shared more details on their new album, "Mechanical Bull". In an interview with MTV News, drummer Nathan Followill revealed that the album's tittle is a tribute to actor John Travolta. "We were so early in on the process of it, we had narrowed it down to three names, and 'Mechanical Bull' won out," Nathan said.

Referring to Travolta's 1980 film, Nathan continued, "I know we watched a lot of 'Urban Cowboy' during the making of this record, so that definitely probably had something to do with it." Of why the album ended up with the name "Mechanical Bull", Nathan said with a laugh, "You're going to have to ask Caleb [lead singer Caleb Followill] about that one."

Kristen Stewart Reportedly to Seek Custody of Dogs With Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart is seeking joint custody of two dogs Bear and Bernie that moved with Robert Pattinson when he left the house they shared. Kristen wants one of the dogs to stay with her, while Robert takes care of the other. According to Daily Star newspaper, the "Twilight" actress misses the two dogs "like mad."

A source told the newspaper, "Kristen thinks they should have one each. She's missing the dogs like mad, but doesn't want the situation to turn nasty." When the British heartthrob moved his belongings out of Kristen's house last month, the two dogs were spotted in his truck.

Eric Clapton Cancels Shows Due to Back Pain

Eric Clapton has canceled two concerts on his European tour due to severe back pain. "The concerts scheduled for Vienna [11 June] and Stuttgart [12 June] have been canceled. Mr. Clapton has injured his back," reads an announcement posted on Clapton's website on June 11. "All other shows will continue as scheduled. Further news on the rescheduling of these two concerts will be made at a later date. "

Another announcement adds that the 68-year-old musician "is currently with specialists who will be able to better determine the course of treatment." The statement continues, "He was looking forward to these concerts and regrets that he is not to be able to perform for the fans. He would like to apologize for any inconveniences these cancellations may cause and would like to thank the fans for their understanding. All tickets can be returned to the Box Offices for refund."

Those hoping to see Jennifer Lopez back in the judging panel of "American Idol" may need to prepare to get disappointed. Following reports that the show's producers wanted the Latina singer to assume the role of an "Idol" judge again, a source now tells E! News, "It's not happening."

J.Lo herself didn't instantly shut down the rumors when she was asked about the matter. "I don't know what's happening over there," she said Monday, June 10 on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest". "I don't know. We will see. I'm always open to the infinite possibilities that the universe has to offer. So you never know."

The Script Premieres 'Millionaires' Music Video

Irish pop-rock band The Script premieres their brand new music video "Millionaires", the latest cut from their third studio album "#3". It is also the fourth single to be released from their current LP which topped the Irish charts and peaked at No. 2 in the U.K. in the last quarter of 2012.

Shot by the band in London, the clip features a lot less of the members, Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power than what fans would hope to see. Most of the footage features a group of friends who head out to the pub to basically just to hang out.

Sandra Bullock in Talks to Play Miss Hannigan in 'Annie'

Sandra Bullock could join the cast of "Annie", a new movie adaptation of the classic orphan girl of the same name. The Wrap reports the "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" actress is in talks to play Miss Hannigan, which was portrayed by Carol Burnett in the original 1982 movie.

If the deals are sealed, she will join "Beasts of the Southern Wild" star Quvenzhane Wallis, who tackles the titular character, and "Django Unchained" actor Jamie Foxx who plays NYC mayoral hopeful Benjamin Stacks, loosely based on the famous "Daddy" Warbucks character.

In the commercial video, the Grammy nominee wears a tight purple latex bodysuit with low-cut neck and a pair of black boots. Her black hair is styled loose. "We got nine lives, going up against fries, we're Katy and the popcats rolling in our ride. Ain't afraid of bad guys because we've got nine lives, miaow," the singer raps in the adventure-themed commercial.

Following up on his promise to fully reimburse those who attended their show on Saturday night at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, Tom Petty has started to refund tickets to the June 8 Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers gig. The show was cut short after a fire marshal shut it down due to the crowd size.

The band was already 90 minutes into their set when the fire marshal closed down the performance right after they sang "Melinda". The fire marshal made the call based on his estimation that the 1,300 capacity of the main floor had been precariously exceeded, despite a joint report by Fonda Theatre and Ticketmaster that the number of tickets sold that night was not beyond the venue's capacity.

There's still a year before "300: Rise of an Empire" hits theaters nationwide, but Warner Bros. Pictures already builds anticipation for the movie by releasing the first trailer. As dark as the predecessor, the "300" sequel has a lot of bloody war scenes as hinted by the sneak-peek video.

Lena Headey's Queen Gorgo appears in the beginning of the snippet, giving a prep talk about freedom and vengeance in what seems to be the aftermath of the ultimate battle in "300". Xerxes, declaring that nothing can't stop the march of his empire, dispatches the fierce and vengeful commander Artemisia to attack the Greeks with her army.
