Nick Carter Reveals Substance and Alcohol Abuse Problem in New Memoir

In the midst of Backstreet Boys' comeback as group, one of the members, Nick Carter will release a memoir. Carter's upcoming book "Facing the Music and Living to Talk About It" is going to be released on September 24, via Bird Street Books.

According to Associated Press, the autobiography will reveal Carter's teenage days with Backstreet Boys and his family matters. The book will reveal his problems with drugs and alcoholic drinks as well. Carter has two siblings, Aaron Carter and Leslie Carter. However, Leslie died last year following a struggle with substance abuse.

KT Tunstall's Divorce Finalized in 80 Seconds

A judge at London's High Court granted drummer Luke Bullen a divorce from Scottish singer KT Tunstall on Thursday, May 23. In a hearing that lasted only 80 seconds, judge Susannah Walker signed off on a decree nisi, declaring the marriage had "broken down irretrievably" due to Tunstall's unreasonable behavior.

At the hearing where neither Tunstall nor Bullen was present, the "Suddenly I see" singer was asked to pay her estranged husband's legal costs of the divorce. Tunstall is now waiting for the issue of a decree absolute, which will be granted in the next six weeks, to formally end the less-than-five-year marriage.

Minaj has been spotted wearing three different wigs on the filming location, which takes place in Manhattan. "In all my years in the music industry, these are the most disgusting and disrespectful allegations I've ever experienced. This fictitious story, with NO audio, visual or written interview, clearly was concocted with malicious intent," she adds.

Rapper Tim Dog, or Timothy Blair, reportedly died in February after suffering a seizure as a result of diabetic complication. However, Esther Pilgrim recently claimed that the rapper was alive. The suspicion came from the absence of his death certificate and sources in regards to the news of his death. Blair allegedly disappeared to avoid paying his debt to Pilgrim.

Blair pleaded guilty to grand larceny in 2011 for defrauding Pilgrim. Blair and Pilgrim got to know each other via a dating online site. He later scammed her into believing that he needed some money for his music investment. The court ordered him to pay the money he owed in five years of his probation. E! News reported that Blair had paid $19,000 of total amount $32,000 when Blair reportedly died.

The young adult novel centers on Sophie and Agatha, two best friends with different fates. While Sophie will earn top marks at the School for Good and join the likes of Cinderella and Rapunzel, Agatha seems a natural fit, with her shapeless black frocks and wicked black cat, for the villains in the School for Evil.

Muse to Give 'World War Z' Post-Premiere Performance

English rock band Muse, whose music is featured in the forthcoming apocalyptic horror film "World War Z", will be performing after the movie's June 2 premiere in London. The rock trio will play in front of the 15,000-capacity Horse Guards Parade Ground in St. James's Park right after the Marc Forster-directed film is shown at the Leicester Square.

Mostly using the band's track "Isolated System" and music from their latest album "The 2nd Law" within the movie, the zombie outbreak-themed film will also feature their music in the trailer, while the soundtrack carries the scoring by Marc Beltrami. "It made the movie feel and sound really cool," said Paramount Pictures' President of Motion Picture Music Randy Spendlove about the band's unique sound.

The screenplay is described as "a coming-of-age story that focuses on a boy and girl in their late teens." Jeff Sneider of The Wrap also adds that "dance will be a key element" in it. Actor Steve Forrest, who took the main role on 1970s TV series "S.W.A.T", died peacefully in his Thousand Oaks, California home on Sunday, May 18, at the age of 87. His wife announced the passing on Thursday, May 23. Reuters reported that the cause of death was not given.

Forrest rose into stardom after starring on the action series as Lt. Dan 'Hondo' Harrelson. The show, which was produced by Leonard Goldberg and Aaron Spelling, ran from 1975 to 1976 on ABC with 37 episodes. His character Hondo was the one behind the famous catchphrase, "Let's roll."

Second Jewelry Theft at Cannes Reported

Another jewelry theft has been reported at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. A diamond necklace worth $2.6 million which belonged to the Swiss house De Grisogono went missing when celebrities including Sharon Stone, Paris Hilton and Ornella Mutti were among other guests who attended the company's party held at the Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes on Thursday, May 23.

"We don't know exactly what happened. It was one of the most beautiful items we had," said the founder of De Grisogono, Fawaz Gruosi. "The police are trying to figure out what happened." Gruosi also stated that 80 bodyguards, local police, hotel security, and De Grisogono staff were on duty to ensure the safety of the item when the valuable jewelry disappeared.

Morgan Freeman has explained why he appeared to fall asleep during a TV interview. "I wasn't actually sleeping," he says, jokingly adding, "I'm a beta tester for Google Eyelids. I was merely updating my Facebook page."

The 75-year-old actor was having an interview about his new movie "Now You See Me" with Fox's Seattle affiliate on Thursday morning, May 23, but he was having a hard time staying awake. He closed his eyes for a long period of time before his head nodded forward while his co-star Michael Caine was enthusiastically explaining about magic tricks, which are the big part of the movie's plot.

Evan Peters of 'American Horror Story' Is Quicksilver in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'

Before Quicksilver makes a grand appearance in "The Avengers 2", he apparently will be seen in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" first. Director Bryan Singer has officially confirmed the news through his Twitter account, stating that "American Horror Story" star Evan Peters is tapped to take on the role of the speedy hero.

"Thrilled to say #EvanPeters is joining #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast as #Quicksilver," so Singer announces the arrival of Peters in the cast ensemble of the latest "X-Men" film. The boyfriend of Emma Roberts will co-star the pic alongside Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Halle Berry.
