Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert and More Perform on 'American Idol' Finale

As it had consistently done in the past eleven seasons, "American Idol" once again brought onstage an all-star line-up of performers for its grand finale, before crowning season twelve champion Candice Glover. Some of the biggest names in the music industry lent their time and talent to the last show of the season to sing with the top finalists, lending their support to the budding superstars.

First to get their dream collaboration onstage was Top 5 girl finalist Janelle Arthur, who was joined by The Band Perry performing the song "Done". Emeli Sande then performed her hit "Next to Me" with Amber Holcomb.

Rihanna Sues Topshop for $5 Million

Rihanna is suing U.K. fashion chain Topshop for $5 million. According to NY Post's Page Six, the Barbadian singer filed a lawsuit against the giant British retailer for selling T-shirts bearing her image without her permission. A source revealed that Rihanna's team tried to negotiate with Topshop owners for eight months over the rights to the image without success.

The source told the site that Rihanna's team "asked Topshop a number of times to stop selling her image." However, the fashion giant owned by billionaire Sir Philip Green told the 25-year-old singer that it would continue selling the T-shirts. "[Topshop's owners] buy the pictures from a photographer, but they do not pay the artist licensing fees. Unfortunately, U.K. law does not protect the artist," the source said.

Kirstie Alley gave her response in regards to a statement made by author Robin Lewis who claimed that Abercrombie & Fitch's CEO Mike Jeffries "doesn't want larger people shopping in his store, he wants thin and beautiful people." She told Entertainment Tonight, "That would make me never buy anything from Abercrombie."

Alley added that her children would do the same. "I've got two kids in that bracket, but they will never walk in those doors because of his view of people - forget women, his view of just people," she said.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are fanning the flames on the rumor that they are getting back together again. According to E! News, the young couple was spotted clubbing at Los Angeles hot spot Supperclub Tuesday night, May 14.

Bieber was there to support his DJ pal Tay James on his birthday. He and Selena reportedly arrived around 11.30 P.M. with his guards in tow and entered the club through the private back door. They held hands and danced together before leaving the club.

Highlighting the excitement of Summer, the video includes beach and bright-colored baloons. In the video Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun also lead thousands of fans to dance together to their music.

Spears' "Smurftastic" new single, which arrived in full following the low-quality snippet, is a mastered version of the Dr. Luke-written and produced work. Sounding like a club banger and a kiddie tune rolled into one, the electro-pop dance track will be played during the end credits of the new movie.

After P. Diddy released a "Downton Abbey" spoof via Funny or Die, now it's "The Simpsons' " turn to take on the Julian Fellowes-created series. The long-running animated comedy has given a look at the opening credits for its season finale which has been altered to imitate the Crawleys' life, featuring a tagline "Simpton Abbey".

"The Simpsons" will wrap up its 24th season with two episodes on Sunday, May 19 starting at 8 P.M. ET on FOX. In the first part called "The Saga of Carl Carlson", Homer, Moe, Lenny and Carl team up to buy a winning lottery ticket, but after Carl snags the ticket and flees to his home country of Iceland, the guys head there in hot pursuit.

One Direction Announces 2014 'Where We Are' World Tour

British-Irish boyband One Direction will embark on a massive "Where We Are" world tour starting April next year. This was announced by the quintet on Thursday, May 16 as they revealed the thirteen tour dates of the first leg of their tour that will take them on a trek across South America, the U.K. and Ireland.

The band made the announcement during a press conference direct from the Wembley Stadium, one of the venues where they will perform in once the tour gets underway. With that stopover, One Direction stands to become the first boyband since 1989 when Bros headlined the said stadium and by the looks of it, the globally popular singing group will be able to fill the 90,000 capacity venue to the rafters.

Former NASCAR Driver Dick Trickle Reportedly Commits Suicide

Retired NASCAR driver Richard "Dick" Trickle passed away on Thursday, May 16, from an apparent self-inflicted gun shot. According to a statement released by the authorities, before Trickle's death, dispatcher officer received a phone call, which is believed coming from Trickle. The caller said that there would be a dead body at Forest Lawn Cemetery and it would be his. The officer tried to reach back to the number, but received no response.

Emergency units later found Trickle's body near his pick up truck at the cemetery which is located in Boger City, North Carolina. Lt. Detective Tim Johnson said that a note was found in the scene and there were no suspicion of foul play. However, ESPN reported that the police would still conduct an investigation, because it was the standard for cases like this.

According to Christie's, Currin drew it based on his imagination from a picture of the sitcom star.

New 'Pacific Rim' Trailer Shows Literally Huge Fight

The new trailer for Guillermo del Toro's "Pacific Rim" has been unleashed and it's an action-packed one. The video capture massive destructions around the world caused by Kaiju, a giant monster which rises from the sea.

"In order to fight monsters, we created monsters of our own," a voiceover says, and the scenes begin showing the giant robots created to fight the monsters. del Toro, known for his impressive use of special effects, presents the epic battle to save humanity with the backdrop of cityscape, creating stunning visuals, but at another time can bring a dramatic effect, including when Idris Elba gives a motivational speech.
