'True Blood' Casts Rutger Hauer as Series Regular

A veteran actor has been added to the cast line-up of "True Blood" season 6. Golden Globe winner Rutger Hauer is tapped to take a regular role on the HBO drama series, playing Macklyn who is described by TVLine as "a mysterious and sinister figure with deep ties to Sookie and Jason."

Hauer is best known for his villainous roles such as Roy Batty in Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner" and John Ryder in 1986 horror film "The Hitcher". He won a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor through his portrayal of Lieutenant Aleksandr Pechersky in 1987 TV movie "Escape from Sobibor". His other credits include "Sin City", "Batman Begins", "The Rite" and the upcoming "Dracula 3D".

Lady GaGa explains why she's not featured in Kendrick Lamar's new album despite her initial announcement that she would make contribution. She apologizes for the absence, saying it happens due to creative differences and promising to release it "at a different time, for a different project."

She says in an open letter posted on her social networking site, "I apologize to the fans that this situation with 'Partynausous' is confusing. To it clear it up I must explain this. When I collaborate with an artist i work solely with them, not with their camps or management. Its purely organic and creative. I love Kendrick dearly as a friend, but I was not willing to compromise musically to the changes his team was making to my music."

Clooney looked very dapper in an all-black suit, while his former pro-wrestler girlfriend matched his look by donning a very revealing dark-colored outfit. The blond beauty oozed sexiness in an Alaia dress from New York Vintage that bared her sexy back. She finished off her elegant look with a simple ponytail, a black miniaudiere and matching Giuseppe Zanotti sandal heels.

"The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep" wrapped up its inaugural season on Thursday, October 4. When the show opened that night, Michael Ray had secured a spot in the grand finale. Five other contestants performed to compete for the two places left, which eventually went to Iliana Incandela and Jordan Baird.

Representing their own cities, the three finalists took it to Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles for their last performances on the show. Michael, who was discovered in Orlando and mentored by John Rich, sang "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" by Jake Owen and he nailed it.

In the picture, the "Bad Romance" singer stood side by side with Versace while displaying her topless body. Her right hand held a hairpin while her left hand covered up her right nipple. However, she did not quite conceal his left one. Whereas GaGa was very open, Versace was safely covered up. Together, they made her trademark cat claw with their right hand.

The first ever clip of "Skyfall" has hit the web. It highlights James Bond's wild action as he uses a construction vehicle to literally wreck a moving train. The famous British agent remains stable and keeps his gray suit sleek despite the fact that he braves the height as he jumps from the vehicle to the carriage.

Reprising the prestigious role of 007 is Daniel Craig, who once stated that he's ready to take the risk to perform practical stunt for the spy film franchise. "It's about danger, but a good danger, because you're in the hands of somebody who's saying 'F*** you' to risk, 'F*** you' to dying," the British hunk said.

Abrams is notoriously known for being uber-secretive about his "Star Trek Into Darkness" project, but during his recent visit on "CONAN", the bespectacled filmmaker generously unveiled a first look "clip" of the "Star Trek" sequel. However, audience must be literally really focused if they want to take a good look at what's inside the "clip" since it only lasts for less than two seconds.

After telling host Conan O'Brien that he wanted to do something special by bringing a "clip" of the film to the talk show, Abrams warned that the video was not "longer than three frames." He additionally gave a hint that the blink-and-you-miss-it footage saw Spock (Zachary Quinto) "in a volcano, in a crazy suit."

Setting things straight, Sesame Workshop has assured people that Romney's plan to zero-out federal spending for public broadcasting won't have such big effect on the show. "Quite frankly, you can debate whether or not there should be funding of public broadcasting. But when they always try to tout out Big Bird, and say we're going to kill Big Bird - that is actually misleading," says the show's executive vice president Sherrie Westin, "because Sesame Street will be here. The company that runs Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Rihanna's fansites among others is forced to pay fine after unlawfully gathering personal information from children. Artist Arena, which is owned by Warner Music, has agreed to pay the $1 million fine.

Federal Trade Commission complained that the fansites failed to obtain parental consent for about 101,000 children under 13 who signed up to such sites as BieberFever.com, SelenaGomez.com and RihannaNow.com. Artist Arena has therefore violated the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (Coppa). None of the artists have been accused of any wrongdoing.

'Pretty Little Liars' Gets Full Fourth Season Order

ABC Family has a big faith on Lucy Hale-starring teen drama thriller "Pretty Little Liars", giving it a fourth season renewal. The cable network has gone ahead to pick up 24 more episodes that will air starting next year.

Michael Riley, president of ABC Family announced Thursday, October 4, that a new season will debut mid-2013 after the conclusion of season 3 that begins its second half in January. The renewal came as inevitable for "Pretty Little Liars" is the network's No.1 series of all time in its key demos. The show hits 18-34 (1.2 million), female teens (1 million), viewers 12-34 (2.6 million) and females 12-34 (2.2 million).

Mariah Carey has just confirmed that there was a feud between her and fellow "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj during the first audition round in Charlotte, North Carolina. "The View" host Barbara Walters said on the show Thursday, October 4 that she spoke to Carey and that the singer told her Minaj has threatened her life.

"Nicki walked off the set and multiple people heard Nicki say, 'If I had a gun I would shoot the b***h'," Walters told her audience. Carey has since hired extra security for safety measure. Carey has also told Walters that Minaj "has not apologized, but they have since been at meetings with producers and judges." After the meeting Minaj warned them that they may be fighting again.
