Mariah Carey Investigated for Drink and Drug by Social Worker

Nick Cannon opened up about a recent problem that came with being famous. His wife Mariah Carey who just gave birth to twins on April 30 is accused of drinking and taking drugs while breastfeeding. The story is twisted in such way that social worker contacted the pair for clarification.

Talking to Piers Morgan on Thursday, May 12 Cannon said Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services investigated them for suspicion of alcohol exposure towards children. "Recently, the child protective services were called with allegations that there was some drinking and drugs and all that going on, wild in the hospital, which makes no sense to me - how would a hospital allow that?" he recalled.

Tisdale, as many reported, has reached her second trimester. She was spotted with a "neat" baby bump while out in New York City recently and sources said she was "glowing". This would be the couple's first child. Prior to marrying Tisdale last fall, Myers was married to Robin Ruzan for 12 years, but they had no children.

Uma Thurman and Rosario Dawson were among the stars honored at the Cannes Film Festival in France on Thursday, May 12, for their contributions to independent moviemaking. Director Jane Campion was also recognized for her new film "Sleeping Beauty", as was the picture's producer, Jessica Brentnall, according to the Associated Press.

Dawson, who has also starred in a number of mainstream films, including "Men in Black 2" and "Sin City", insists she will never forget her acting roots. She says, "I've been acting since [I was] 15, doing independent films and now we have all of these women directors who are being nominated and their films are being shown and put across this audience. I think it's fair and that's exciting to see that over all these years."

The "America's Got Talent" host spent around $12,000 to present his pop singer wife with a 4-carat diamond and sapphire necklace, which spells out the names of their newborn twins, Moroccan and Monroe, from up-scale jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills.

About the sparkling piece that also incorporates 14-karat white and rose gold, jeweler Jason Arasheben explained to People Magazine, "Nick was really excited about the babies' names and wanted to do a piece with them for Mariah's first Mother's Day." He added, "Pink sapphires are bright and bold and diamonds are always so classic."

A new series of big stars have been added to the performer list of 2011 Billboard Music Awards. They are pop/dance singer Ke$ha, hip-hop group Far East Movement, alternative rock band OneRepublic, pop/rock singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder and R&B crooner Ne-Yo.

These newly-added musical guests will be joined by previously-announced acts like Cee-Lo Green, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Taio Cruz, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. Hosting the whole event, which will take place on May 22, will be "The Hangover" actor Ken Jeong.

Warner Bros. Pictures has rescheduled "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" release date. After scheduled for a fall 2011 release, "Journey 2" starring Vanessa Hudgens as Kailani is now set to be released on January 27, 2012.

Sebastian Bach Arrested for Drug Possession
