The U.S. President has agreed to sit down with the CBS show's correspondent Steve Kroft for a chat to be conducted at the White House on Wednesday, May 4. The interview will be broadcast on "60 Minutes" on Sunday, May 8 at 7 P.M. ET/PT.
In the meantime, it has been reported that Obama drew 56 million American viewers when he announced the killing of Osama on Sunday, May 1. According to Nielsen, the nine-minute speech which was aired from 11:35 to 11:44 P.M. EDT on 9 networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox News, had a combined household rating of 33.9.
