Lady GaGa headlines this week following the publication of a hard-hitting feature in Britain's NME magazine, in which a journalist confronted her about allegations of plagiarism, product placement in her videos, and the origins of the horned image she sported earlier this year.

In the piece, titled "Freak or Fraud?", GaGa broke down in tears as she denied the widespread claims she copied Madonna's Express Yourself for her hit Born This Way, replying, "I am not stupid enough to put a record out and be that moronic. Why would I try to put a song out and think I'm getting one over on everybody? That's retarded."

Foo Fighters are currently embarking on a tour of tiny venues after launching a contest for fans to win a private show at their home.

The eight gigs will all be played in garages to mark the release of the band's latest hit album, "Wasting Light", which was recorded in frontman Dave Grohl's garage in California.

Charlie Sheen's request was turned down and he was left facing a mad dash across the U.S. to get to his show on the east coast that evening.

After landing in the capital, Charlie Sheen was given a police escort as he made his way to the venue and he wrote about the experience on his Twitter.com page while he was in transit, telling fans, "In car with police escort in front and rear! However, the project is now facing a jeopardy after a distribution-rights war erupts between Bert Fields who is repping Harvey and Bob's The Weinstein Co and Ryan Kavanaugh from Relativity Media.

Fields claimed in a lawsuit that there exists a "written contract signed by everybody" which gives the distribution rights to Weinsteins. The two parties actually have been discussing this issue back and forth but this time Weinsteins includes legal. "Mr. Kavanaugh was not going to honor that contract. Apparently, he's going to sell these rights to others. He made a bunch of threats," Fields told Deadline.

Beastie Boys have just debuted a music video for their latest single "Make Some Noise". It features A-list cameos like Seth Rogen and Elijah Wood. The former channels his inner rap star, rocking a black fedora and shades, and finishing off his look with some huge bling-blings. The latter, meanwhile, goes more casual with red T-shirt and matching cap.

The music video is clipped from Beastie Boys' mini movie "Fight for Your Right Revisited" which is released to celebrate their 25 year-anniversary of their career. The full film will have more celebs ranging from Susan Sarandon, Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and Amy Poehler.

British funnyman Russell Brand is keen to star in a movie with his wife Katy Perry after their scene in "Get Him to the Greek" was axed. The "Arthur" actor filmed a kissing clip with Perry for the comedy, just before they started dating in September 2009.

The pair became engaged before the movie was released, and Perry's cameo was axed for fear it would be "too cheesy" for viewers. But Brand, who is now married to the "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker, is hopeful he will one day get to appear on screen with the singer.

Robert Pattinson's recent taped appearance on U.S. chat show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" turned into a therapy session when he recalled his childhood torment at the hands of a mean teacher. The "Twilight" hunk appeared on comedienne Ellen DeGeneres' show on Wednesday, April 20 to promote new movie "Water for Elephants" and when the chat turned to how much he cared about animals, he recalled a mean-spirited teacher who tipped his snail collection in the rubbish bin at school.

He recalled, "Everybody used to chuck snails at each other at school and I used to try and save them and not only did I get in trouble for it, I got suspended for doing it... It's a big life lesson I learned: 'Never try and do anything nice!' " Pattinson revealed he picked up all the snails and created a "little snail land" sanctuary at the back of his classroom - but his teacher did not approve.

A stuntman who was badly injured in Broadway's "Spider-Man" musical is marking his recovery by rejoining the cast next week. Christopher Tierney suffered several broken ribs, a fractured elbow, a bruised lung, three fractured vertebrae and a cracked skull when he fell from a ledge during a showing of "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" in December 2010.

Following the accident, Tierney underwent back surgery and spent Christmas in hospital - but after several months undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation center, Tierney is now fighting fit. He is expected to resume rehearsals with the rest of the cast next Monday, April 25 and perform on the show's opening night in June.

Singer Toni Braxton has no plans to legally end her marriage to estranged husband Keri Lewis, because she can't bear to break the news to the couple's two young sons. The star split from Lewis, a former member of R&B band Mint Condition, in late 2009 but the pair has remained close for the sake of their boys Denim, nine, and Diezel, eight.

And Braxton admits she can't see herself filing for divorce to finalize their split for fear of upsetting her children. She tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, "We co-parent together. The 10th Tribeca Film Festival was officially kicked off Wednesday, April 20 at the World Financial Center with the arrival of celebrities on the red carpet. Director Martin Scorsese, actress Anna Kendrick, musician Elton John all gathered for the first-ever opening night outdoor community event which was followed by the screening of the opening film Cameron Crowe's "The Union".

"The Union" is a documentary about the musical collaboration between John and singer/songwriter Leon Russell. "I never thought when we started making this that we would end up here. We didn't know what would happen. We just wanted Cameron to document what was going on in the studio," John told NY 1.

Having made an appearance on "Saturday Night Live" in October 2009, Lady GaGa is set to return to the show next month. A source confirmed the news, telling MTV that the Mother Monster has been booked as a musical guest for its upcoming season finale.

The season finale of the sketch show is going to air May 7. Joining the "Born This Way" hitmaker reportedly will be frequent "SNL" visitor Justin Timberlake. However, the "Yogi Bear" actor will allegedly host the NBC show instead of performing.

Details of "Glee" final episodes for season 2 have been shared by Fox, hinting that at least one of the episodes will have a mourning tone. Foo Fighters have finally earned their first No. 1 album as their seventh studio album "Wasting Light" soars to the first position on Billboard Hot 200 this week like many have predicted. It took Dave Grohl and friends almost a decade and a half to claim their chart topper.

Led by No. 1 Billboard Rock single "Rope", the album has sold around 235,000 copies in its first week on sale, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Despite giving this band their first No. 1 album, the sale number is not their best. It's the band's second-largest sales week, being overshadowed by their debut "In Your Honor" which bowed 311,000 in 2005.

Colin Farrell could star opposite Kate Beckinsale in "Total Recall" remake. Report emerges on Wednesday, April 20 that the actress has been offered to slip in the role of Lori who was originally portrayed by Sharon Stone in the 1990 movie.

Beckinsale's name is the latest in the list of actresses vying for the lead female roles. Beside Lori, there's also Melina waiting to have an actress to bring her to life. Eva Mendes, Jessica Biel, Rosario Dawson and Eva Green may be one of them but Beckinsale, according to Deadline, is Len Wiseman's top choice for Lori.

Khloe Kardashian is set to guest star on "Law & Order: Los Angeles". The 26-year-old socialite is booked to make a cameo on the NBC series and her episode will air this Monday, April 25, so the network announces.

The upcoming episode will deal with the shooting death of a celebrity stylist. The younger sister of Kim Kardashian will play herself, appearing as one of the stylist's famous clients. She will share screen with Alfred Molina's Ricardo Morales and Corey Stoll's T.J. Jaruszalski.

Contrary to the swirling reports, Lady GaGa never rejected "Born This Way" parody made by "Weird Al" Yankovic. In fact, the Mother Monster loves it and "the fact that she didn't approve it was news to Lady GaGa herself," Yankovic wrote on his newest blog post.

Yankovic recorded the parody for his new album. At first, he's reluctant to tackle it "because it was such an earnest human rights anthem." He reasoned, "I thought some people might consider a parody to be in poor taste." But later, he changed his mind because he felt it had a lot of potential.

Having better his strained relationship with daughter Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus expresses his simple wish for the young songstress. In a new interview with Parade magazine, the "Achy Breaky Heart" hitmaker says, "My wish for her is to be happy. To love what she's doing."

"We've always had a slogan in our family: 'If you ain't happy, it ain't working.' You need to love what you're doing," the 49-year-old country singer/actor elaborates his statement. "As long as she's happy and loving making music - and I know she loves acting - that's all that matters."

Not only is Chris Colfer a talented singer and actor, but he is also a writer. The star of Fox's "Glee" has sold a pilot titled "The Little Leftover Witch", which he wrote, to Disney Channel. Deadline reports the mouse house will start shooting it soon.

The pilot is based on a children's book of the same name by Florence Laughlin. The story follows a little witch who is taken in by a new family after her broom breaks and she drops out of the sky. Further details about the project are not available yet.

Rapper The Game has been detained in Canada after he was mysteriously denied entry into the country. The hip-hop star, who is booked to perform shows in Canada, flew in from Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 20. Three hours after arriving at customs, he was refused permission to cross over the border.

The Game, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, claims he is now being forced to stay in Canada for the next 14 days. In a furious rant on Twitter.com, he writes, "Customs officials just denied me entry into Canada. I'm sorry 2 ALL my fans but I was mislead by promoters & assured I would be able 2 enter."

Funny man Dax Shepard is still battling a car accident claim after a young motorist almost killed him while performing a U-turn in the middle of the road. The other driver's Range Rover pushed the actor's car into oncoming traffic and Shepard's life flashed before him as a bus screeched to a halt to avoid crushing him.

The shaken "When in Rome" star got out of his vehicle only to find that the Range Rover driver was blaming him for the accident. He says, "These guys immediately they come out of the gates hot. They're like, 'Bro, what happened?' I'm like, 'You tell me man, you just, made a left turn into my car'."

This summer, there will be a new classic switched-up movie starring Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds hitting the theaters. "The Change-Up" is a comedy in which a married guy accidentally and by supernatural power switches bodies with his womanizer best friend.

Growing up together, Mitch (Reynolds) and Dave (Bateman) were inseparable best friends, but as the years have passed they've slowly drifted apart. While Dave is an overworked lawyer, husband and father of three, Mitch has remained a single, quasi-employed man-child who has never met a responsibility he liked.

With "Madea's Big Happy Family" to be released this Friday, April 22 in theaters nationwide, Tyler Perry was out to promote the film in Los Angeles on Tuesday. He was supported by a lot of celebrities such as Bow Wow, Mario, Keke Palmer, Isaiah Mustafa, Teyana Taylor and Quinton Aaron among others.

Perry talked to MTV during the red carpet segment, revealing why the Madea franchise is still alive. "The people, they won't let it go," Perry said. "They won't let it go. I got about a million messages on my message board of people saying how much they love it, so as long as people want to see it, I'll keep doing it."

Madison De La Garza apparently takes part in Demi Lovato's road to recovery. In her first TV interview since leaving rehab, 18-year-old Demi told Robin Roberts of "Good Morning America" that she got through the challenging treatment for her emotional issues because she wants to set an example for her younger half-sister.

"A picture of my little sister [Madison], on my little bulletin board, was one of the main things that kept me going. I just kept thinking, 'OK, set this example for your little sister,' " explained the songstress. "The real reason why I'm sitting down with you is to open up the eyes of so many young girls, that it doesn't have to be this way."

Following the passing of their "beloved friend and bandmate" Gerard Smith, rock band TV on the Radio scrapped five dates of their on-going North American tour. The first canceled gig is the one which was supposed to take place at St. Andrew Halls, Detroit MI on April 20.

They also dropped a show at Metro, Chicago IL on April 22, two concerts at First Ave, Minneapolis MN on April 23 and 24, as well as one gig at Ogden, Denver CO on April 26. They are expected to be back on the road on April 29 in San Fransisco CA, but it's not confirmed just yet as "there will be more information as it becomes available."

Heidi Montag, Jake Pavelka and Danielle Staub's joint project has been officially announced by VH1. The network has stated on Wednesday, April 20 that the new reality series is called "Famous Food" and is set to premiere this fall.

In the new show, the threesome is joined by "The Sopranos" actor Vincent Pastore, singer Ashley Dupre, as well as Three 6 Mafia rappers, DJ Paul and Juicy J, to show if they have the skill to launch a restaurant aptly named Famous Food. The former "The Hills" star, Heidi, is not new to the business as her parents had run an eatery in Crested Butte, Colo. for 21 before they shut it down last fall.

After a case of hot and cold, Lindsay Lohan is officially signed to "Gotti: Three Generations". Instead of portraying Victoria Gotti as presumed, she would be Kim Gotti aka John Gotti Jr.'s wife. In addition, Lindsay also struck a deal with Marc Fiore's other production, "Mob Street" which screenplay is written by Chazz Palminteri.

"We're very pleased to have Lindsay on-board for both of these films," executive producer Marc Fiore tells Us Weekly in a statement. "She has been very enthusiastic about the Gotti project, and after resuming discussions with her, we were impressed by her commitment to the film and felt she would be a perfect Kim Gotti."

Emma Roberts has been caught canoodling with Chord Overstreet over the weekend. Us Weekly reported that an eyewitness has seen the "Scream 4" beauty and the "Glee" hunk making out at the A|X Armani Exchange and 944 Magazine carnival in Indio, California last Saturday, April 16.

It was said that the twosome "couldn't keep their hands off each other". Another source also noted that near the end of the party, they were heard "talking about heading to a hotel pool". E! Seven remaining contestants on "American Idol" were showcasing songs from the 21st century this Wednesday. But before that, the eliminated contestants including latest outcast Paul McDonald returned to the stage to perform "So What" by Pink.

Being told by Jimmy Iovine to move or carry a guitar so that people won't get bored, Scott chose to do swings. Steven Tyler said it "good" and he "liked it", but wanted more "boot scootin." Beyonce Knowles has revealed details of her brand new single "Run the World (Girls)" which leaked earlier this week. The R&B singer is going to release the song as a lead single from her not-yet-titled album on iTunes on April 21 and premiere it on radio worldwide on the same day.

A girl empowerment single which samples Major Lazer's "Pon de Floor", "Run the World" is produced by Switch with additional production by Beyonce and Shea Taylor. The wife of Jay-Z also contributes to its songwriting along with Terius Nash aka The-Dream.

TV on the Radio have brought up one tragic news for their fans. The "Staring at the Sun" rockers announced through their website that they have just lost one of their band mates. On Wednesday, April 20, their 34-year-old bassist, Gerard Smith, lost his battle with lung cancer.

In a statement they posted on their website, the rock band wrote, "We are very sad to announce the death of our beloved friend and band mate, Gerard Smith, following a courageous fight against lung cancer. Gerard passed away the morning of April 20th, 2011. We will miss him terribly." Along with the statement, they also announced cancellation on a number of upcoming gigs.

The former "Sonny with a Chance" actress, Demi Lovato heaped praise on Catherine Zeta-Jones last week after it emerged the Oscar winner had undergone treatment at a mental health facility in Connecticut to combat a serious bout of depression.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, Demi Lovato wrote, "I don't know Catherine Zeta-Jones personally but what she has decided to do... SO brave... and SO difficult but worth it... I'm proud of her."
